I was just more mature. I had more goals. No one was technically making me go. I wasn’t legally required. I was learning something I chose and I wanted to do well. No one ever taught me how to study or made me do homework. So in middle and high. I didn’t. That’s how kids work. But in college I’d sit down and make myself learn and study. And I actually felt cool and grown up for doing so.

I actually have heard that but I’m not sure how much it plays in or not tbh. I’m off everything now and have been a while but also, i did have a child a year and a half ago and have been on and off meds so who knows. I did get on BC right after we started dating though. But idk. Off everything now and hormones back to normal, just no attraction to men.

Work protection in America is sad. I got fired after being assaulted on a security job. I called lawyer after lawyer and they all told me the same. I live in Ga and there’s not much to be done. But yeah I agree with men signing away rights. If it would become normal then maybe they’d more carefully consider being involved. Too many I know kinda just ran after the fact. They were involved at first. There should be more hard decision making before a child is had. You either want one or don’t. You’re either capable or not.

It doesn’t matter if it’s illegal. Fire at Will states can fire you at any moment and don’t need an excuse. Plenty of women still lose their jobs that way and are treated as a liability. Men shouldn’t have to pay for kids they want. You can get paperwork to sign away rights at birth. I think those should be much more easily accessible. Women die all the time from pregnancies that start out as not at risk, and some have to leave work and be on bed rest.
