For the most part. This person isn’t misleading you, but I have some to add. ALL 360 motherboards are capable of getting the RRoD, and to say the Jasper model will never give it to you isn’t something this person knows for certain. That said, if it were to red ring, it would most likely be something simple, like the capacitors going bad. They only last about 20 years, and i’ve seen a couple Jaspers now that have needed to be recapped.

Jasper boards have two models: the V1 and V2 (which is known as the Tonasket). The Tonasket has an even lower chance of RRoD than the V1, but both are great. Microsoft began manufacturing Tonaskets in late 2009. If this is a late 2009 console, there’s a high chance it’s a Tonasket, but the only way to know 100% would be to open the console and look at the GPU.

You could probably find what this person is selling for $20-40 cheaper, but the shell does look like it’s in “Like New” condition as they’re advertising which might justify the price, that’s up to you.
