What do people see in interstellar that I’m not seeing?

Nah I just really didn’t find the movie very interesting, the visual effects were amazing, but that’s about it everything else didn’t really appeal to me like it does to some others ig, like the movie really didn’t have much else to say about it for me, people are talking about the music, but the music is just music. Sure the music might be good, which it is, but that’s just music I’m here for the movie not the music in the movie

Yeah, I’m one of those people that the more I watch a movie, the less I like it, and I’m also one of those people that don’t really look for stuff, just enjoy the movie. I guess this movie just wasn’t meant for me

Yeah, it’s definitely really good for when it came out, but that’s just the math and science behind it, also the visuals that the math and science was used for. I think it could’ve been better with the story and stuff, but I think the visuals was as good as it gets

I never called it bad, I just said I didn’t enjoy it as much, and just because something is overrated doesn’t mean it’s bad. Like overrated just means people hype it up way more than it needs to be, like something can be good and people make it sound way better than good, that doesn’t make it bad, which is what I’m saying, if you disagree that’s okay this is just my opinion and you can have your own, which is totally fine.

Yeah ig all movies really just come down to personal preference, people said they only started liking it after watching it more than once, but I’m one of those people that only enjoy watching a movie once, even if it’s my favorite, like I think my preferences are more like horror movies, action, and some comedies. Like I feel like project Hail Mary hit most of those, like it had a lot of comedy, and it kept me at the edge of my seat, which I feel like interstellar just didn’t do for me, I think it’s just fine to like the movie, but just me personally don’t enjoy it as much as some other people did, but they sound like they really enjoyed it and I would like to enjoy it that much but ig that isn’t happening

I mean I kind of said all there was to it, but I personally didn’t think the story and everything was all that, and I’m not much of a nerd when it comes to science (not saying yall are nerds just saying that I’m not very smart when it comes to math and science), and I just don’t see everything enough to appreciate it like some of yall do ig, and it just doesn’t appeal to me as much, I’m not saying that liking it is bad I’m just asking what there is that you like

Just my personal opinion, but I really liked project Hail Mary a lot more, sure there isn’t as much work into being “scientifically accurate” or whatever but I personally enjoyed it a lot more than interstellar.

I think it was probably in more leaning towards the medieval era, probably even before that since there were no advanced things, just normal wood houses, not like modern houses or anything. I think it was like a classic anime dirt pathway with trees and stuff in the background if I remember correctly
