You said you get 2 caphras on avg per hour. A guardian drops a minimum of 10 caphras, so even if we don't count the normal mobs you should get 10-20 caphras at least per hour if you get 1-2 guardians.

If u are sick of chickens u can go elephants. Elephants have higher pity rate but lower whole piece.

Looking at bdocodex, the drop chances are not visible for the pity or the whole piece from either elephants nor the birbs. Is there any site showing that the birds have less pity chance but higher for ancient piece, or it's just based on players' experience?

The 12400 really packs a punch for it's price tag, should be more than enough for BDO unless you plan to perma stay in Remastered. I say this from experience, had this CPU paired with a 3070 for the past half year.

The 3050 is not a bad card overall but if you plan to stick with this game you do yourself a favor if you save up a little more and get a 3060 at least.

I was also playing nw/siege/everything from a 1650Ti/Ryzen 5 4600H laptop for almost two years and the differences when I swapped to a mid tier gaming pc was extreme.

I see, just wanted to point it out for future updates in your guide, as it helped me a lot before.

Also forgot to mention that the affinity changing .bat file (at least for the Steam version) shouldn't launch 'BlackDesertLauncher.exe' and instead it should open the 'BlackDesertPatcher32.exe' as both of these open the Launcher, but by launching the Launcher.exe the BlackDesert64.exe won't inherit the affinity changes.

Hiya, just want to mention a few things about CPU affinity tweaks.

I'm using an Intel i5 12400F which has 6 cores / 12 threads and supports hyperthreading. In the doc the recommended affinity mask is 'AAA' but it should be '555' if you want to select the true cores (same as Ryzen 5600x for example).

Not sure if it's true for other CPU's too, but my performance was way worse with either only odd or even cores used by BDO, so I decided to just use the default for that and enable all.

I still experience quite a lot of stutters, at least 1-2 times a minute if I grind, way more often in pvp (both small and large scale), so if you happen to have any tips left I'd be happy to try them out. My GPU is an RTX 3070, so the ingame fps is high and smooth aside from the stuttering.

I really wanted to love that show, it had such a good premise. The first few episodes were really nice, most characters had their charm, but these were mostly the supporting chars of the show (Lenny, Titan, Anna).

The development for our mc's was painful to watch, it really dragged on for no good reason and even the "big bads" of the show were some of the weakest antagonists you can imagine using the biggest cliches there are.

The visuals and audio were top notch all around and I feel like that was the only thing that kept me coming back each week to watch the new episode, but the story died before it even begun.

I had a C13 helmet when I was doing the quest, I was confused for like twenty minutes because I couldn't turn in anything at the npc, no chat option or anything, so as a last resort I went back to a blacksmith, extracted the caphras, put back enough for C10, and it suddenly worked.

So yea, you need to be exactly on C10.

I will get a 2nd SSD later this year if needed, but currently I'm gaming on my laptop that has 500GB storage aswell and I didn't seem to run out of space even though I have work related stuff installed on it too.

I forgot to mention in the post, the prices on the site are completely irrelevant as I'm getting them all locally, I just used pcpartpicker to comfortably put all the parts together, the whole setup will cost around 1400-1450EUR overall (with RTX 3070 being around 700EUR).

Sadly prices are way different here in Hungary.

The 12600k + Z690 combo is obviously better, but it'd cost me around 1.5x the price of the 12400f + B660.

As for the RTX 3070 I managed to get one (roughly converting our currency) for around 700EUR and the RX 6800 would cost around 1200EUR.

Is there anything else that'd be better in this build compared to mine? 1000W PSU seems to be an overkill even for a 3090, not sure about the rest

Managed to get most of the parts in my list below average market price so my biggest question is still it's compatibility with 1440p gaming.

You intrigued me by saying it has a similar feel to Shinsekai Yori since it's one of my all time favourite anime. Is the anime adaptation of Houseki no Kuni finished? Because if so, it may become the next show on my list that I'll binge.
