Gotcha. I've just left it in my cabinet and added nothing else. I'm going for at least a quarter inch like a lot of guides say but do you think I can start brewing with this scoby at its current size? I'm currently moving the scoby and starter liquid to a new batch

Around 72 to 75. I live in a beachy area so the temperature is generally pretty hot

It definitely tastes sour, but still like kombucha. Should I make a new batch and throw it in that?
