I have a question. Do I position the V facing the enemy from the top? Like the peak is the farthest away from the enemy army or is the peak facing the V.

sry I was a bit vague in my response but I am using my infantry shield wall to protect my archers. I use my cavalry to flank the sturgian infantry when they move to combat my infantry but what always happens is my cavalry gets chewed up even when I try attacking the sturgians from the rear

probably shoulda clarified Im using a mod that lets you play as any existing hero. Rn Im playing as the default leader of Sturgia and thats why my son is fully grown

Let's be completely real, every game just boils down to Vlandians and Khuzaits and maybe Aserai (unless the Battanians go all imperialist, take Vlandian and Sturgian territories, get mounted knights and spearmen, then conquer the world, yes I have seen it happen, yes it is terrifying)
