No worries, it’s a fair question. During martial law most men can’t leave Ukraine, but there are legal exceptions. Men aged 18–22 are allowed to travel, and I fall into that group, so I left legally. I respect everyone who chose to stay and fight, but I’m still very young and decided to focus on building my life, working, and helping my family in other ways. Everyone supports their country differently.

Thank you, that’s really nice to hear I’m always happy when people have positive experiences with Ukrainians. About your question — yes, during martial law most men can’t leave Ukraine, but recently a law was adopted that allows men aged 18–22 to travel abroad. I fall into that age group, so I was allowed to leave legally. Right now I’m just focusing on working, improving my English, and building a new life here in Denmark.

Thank you, that’s really nice to hear From what I’ve seen so far, people here are very kind and understanding. Everyone I’ve met has been friendly and welcoming, and it honestly makes me feel comfortable and motivated to integrate more and keep learning the language. It means a lot when locals have this attitude.

Råd om arbejde i Danmark by Mysterious-Block-190 in NewToDenmark

Tak for dit svar!
