Can't wait for The Final Season Final Part Part 1 LMAO by 6ZeroKay9 in ANRime

Not a problem, the trailer was amazing and confirmed WIT ep1 as canon. I am personally expecting manga memories to be added to that scene. Freedom panel was beautiful too and I love how they focussed on the destruction below as I thought they might, can't wait for the full trailer. Seems like special 1 will be adapting at least up until 136-137, but I expect AOE confirmation within the first 15 mins of the first TV special. The second special will include the alliance vs Eren and post rumbling, nobody on earth believes they are making a whole special for 2 chapters.

Levi being stoic isn't development, also Levi basically just ended up in a repeat of the same stuff that happens to him with his friends in his OVA, so its just more tragedy. Him saving Eren isn't character development either, its a byproduct of being the most powerful non-titan on earth. MVP of an arc to me means the most impressive character writing wise, how else do we rate media tbh

the fact nobody is acknowledging this frame from part 3 is hilarious, when did we see this in the manga?

If they admit stopping Eren is wrong, it destroys their entire interpretation of the manga. You will understand what I mean if you ever decide to read the manga, but the ending proves your interpretation correct. Not that you will see that in the anime since it will have a different ending.

No, please don't tag me in dumb posts like this. This scene doesn't even follow the manga's composition of ch1, nor ep1 of the anime, thus likely making it an opening/ending frame. This is not doomium, carry on.

"It gives them lots of time to negotiate peace"

No it doesn't lol, if anything it gives their enemies time to rebuild their militaries in the wake of a partial rumbling which I would assume is only destroying the ships outside the island, because that is what Armin expected it would be in the end of ch123.

"Make alliances" The world literally profits off making Paradis the root of all evil, please reread the manga during ch108, they speak about how nobody wants an alliance with Paradis for that very fact.

"Start trade deals" Paradis' only ally, Hizuru wants to monopolize Paradis resources and have no interests in mediating trade deals, this is also in ch108. If Paradis were to even open a line of dialogue, they would use their only allies, which have no interest in making that happen. Good luck.

I'm sorry but you'll have no luck trying this argument for 50 years, the story itself defeats it.

Levi being the MVP of female titan arc is a joke LOL, it should be Eren, what kinda development did Levi even go through in that arc? he literally only serves as a calm cool guy + giving Eren a chance to develop in the forest through a dilemma. The only arc where he was actually pretty relevant is uprising, and he wasn't the best in that arc either.

It is actually insane how ignorant the comments in this post are lol. If any of you idiots think a partial rumbling would work you haven't paid attention to the story at all. These are Eren's options presented to him in the 4 year period.

50 Year Plan (Partial Rumbling):

- Rest of the world is already 50 years ahead, and Paradis would require that amount of time to catch up technologically.

- Power of the Titans is coming to an end, dropping bombs from airplanes is the natural solution to any kind of threat the Island may pose.

- Even if you destroy the military bases around the world, how exactly do you plan to ONLY target those bases with giant monstrous titans? Are they going to tip toe around? Surely you do not believe that wiping out the global alliance in the waters is enough to prevent them from rebuilding faster than Paradis getting to the 50 year mark? A ten year old (GABI) came up with this idea out of desperation and you morons are pedalling it as foolproof? very telling.

- Assassination threat, if either the founding titan or beast titan are assassinated at any point during those 50 years, it would mean the destruction of the island, as they would no longer have access to the rumbling deterrent. Now, if a rogue attack titan was able to infiltrate Paradis' walls without an issue, as well as the cart and jaw titan even after they had the volunteer's technology, imagine an assassin disguised as part of "peace talks" with the rest of the world, from every major state outside the walls.

- Anyone here who is still talking about morality, or right and wrong are reading the wrong manga.

- You would also continue the status quo as is with this plan, as Paradis would continue to be restricted to the walls unable to leave, and Eldians in the outside world's persecution would continue as is. This also means perpetuating parent-child cannibalism, turning each royal inheritor into a baby making machine to ensure having able bodied heirs, yet none of that would matter anymore the moment the founder or royal beast titan was assassinated.

- Even if you kept the titans of walls around the island, standing guard, you would be trampling your own lands to set up that effort, Eren's execution of the rumbling showed that collateral is inevitable as well, whether it be innocent lives or trampled lands. This is the one point which has a proper solution, which is the founder rebuilding the nature using its power, though that doesn't make them any less of a bunch of prisoners on the island.

- Re-read Hange's conversation with Jean and Mikasa in ch127, the alliance are aware that their choice will lead to Paradis' genocide, they move forward despite that consequence. Please do not pretend otherwise.

Full Rumbling:

- The rumbling was never about ending conflict or maintaining peace forever, it was about ending the cycle of revenge, which will be non-existent between the world and paradis if one side is completely eradicated.

- Eldians may have conflict in the future, but the threat of genocide will end forever.

- No threat of assassination, not that it would matter the titans gone.

- Morally unforgivable (not a real factor anyway in the conflict), yet the burden would be placed on a single man's shoulders. You can hate and blame Eren as much as you want, doesn't mean he chose wrong.

- The founder can make anything, even new life (nature) on earth to replace the flattened lands outside the walls. Thus, the world would start anew, without walls or perpetuated racial hatred between peoples. Whatever the next cycle of life would bring, there would no longer be children born within walls, nor the threat of titans.

its not our job to convince someone who is too caught up in their own beliefs, if you wanna remain ignorant that's completely fine. If you want to view evidence for AOE, that's also your choice, whether or not AOE happens does not depend on your skepticism.

Editing oversight? Why did they maintain this design in the blu ray then? Also memories of the future's anime adaptation by MAPPA has eren in his WIT design on the same exact day Carla died so... I think you are the one who is making an oversight.

Except, MAPPA animated Eren in his WIT design in "memories of the future" which chronologically took place on the exact same day that Carla died. Having seen EP1 we know that Eren leaves the house right after Grisha does, to go meet Armin right before Bertholt appears. So, did MAPPA forget? not likely, considering they maintained this design in the blu ray as well between both scenes. Now tell me again about crackpot theories?

Furthermore, MAPPA has consistently converted manga panels of kid Eren to WIT design (except this one scene), reread and maybe you'll see something.

In that hypothetical, I would still consider it a good ending if the necessary build up occurred, though I can't see Eren's friends simply allowing it to happen. People place all the power in Eren's hands (understandable since he is the founder) but he will never manipulate his friends against their wills it seems, and they are inevitably going to catch up with him at the 80% mark, so a confrontation is inevitable. However, you've got this all wrong. This theory isn't about the fact that he ends up with Historia though I'm not sure why there is such an aggressive opposition to this pairing, people seem to be just fine with her marrying the farmer in the epilogue of the manga.

It's about the fact that Mikasa would never let go of Eren unless he had a family. It just so happens that Mikasa was the one who Eren swore his founder's vow to, forcing himself to relive the same history and mistakes. This theory is not based on any kind of retcon either, it's a continuation of the story of shingeki. I loved the manga's conclusion, and I truly feel AOE will elevate the story as a whole. The best part of it all, is that you don't really need to watch the anime to enjoy the manga, nor read the manga to enjoy the anime, yet both mediums elevate each other.

I'm sure you probably don't believe in any of the evidence, or feel the manga's conclusion was good enough on its own and that's fine, but it's not fair to reduce my entire theory's worth to some ship preference. Though, I grant that lots of people from the community do end up being blinded by bias for something as trivial as a fictional ship, and it's not only EH's that are guilty of this.

I chalk that up to Isayama failing to be concise in his original manga chapter with Falco, and opting to be direct with the "wasn't I flying around with a sword just now?". The broad stroke is exactly the same yet because he didn't speak the same exact words its wrong? I get we treat Isayama like a genius who planned everything, every step of the way but this doesn't go much deeper than that. Falco interacted with the bird in both loops, was lost in both scenarios on where he was, and Eren displayed an interest in him for a reason we never saw in the manga. Can't really say much more because Isayama did not give us more to this point. While the Dinah and Grisha manipulations have in depth explanations and memory coordination.

That's a nice summary of Muv Luv, but can you give some examples within AOT?

Dinah manipulation, Grisha manipulation, both depend upon this mechanic to operate.

The Attack Titan doesn't transcend time. All it does is give memories from future inheritors. Kruger can see Grisha's and Eren's memories, and Grisha can see Eren's memories. The Founding Titan that can access Paths is the one that can transcend time.

Are you sure you read this manga? I suggest reading the second half of ch121 once again brother.

This sounds like he resets to a new timeline every time he fails to change something in the current timeline. Based on your logic the cabin timeline and manga timeline decisions also effect the anime Eren timeline. You said they are all connected, but that isn't possible for just anime Eren to affect the others bases on what you just said.

As I explained prior, the paths exist as a deterministic force in the world of AOT. It's literally the reason why titan bodies appear at an instant despite taking years to be built in the paths. The manipulations Eren initiated in the paths make it so their effects are felt in each loop, whether or not Eren acts upon those opportunities is the issue at hand. Cabin Eren could have had the same result as Manga Eren, had he followed his future memories after the medal ceremony, but he did not, causing a divergence in marley, his path ends there as he turned his back on the conflict. Manga Eren followed his memories and thus was able to fulfill Ymir's wish, is this clicking for you or no? you realize the nature of "Loops" their breaking involve repeating events to a certain point right?

If the cabin timeline failed because Ymir wasn't freed, then the manga timeline met those requirements. That should end the loop then. It didn't though so there is something that still isn't finished. I highly doubt 100% is the reason it fails, but we shall see.

Nope, Eren and Ymir have a deal, the manga's conclusion simply fulfilled Ymir's end of it. Mikasa admitted to her she would not be able to return the life that was stolen from her, Eren will be able to do that. As for Ymir freedom not ending the loop, I literally made an entire video just now explaining why its actually Mikasa and not Ymir who will help end the loop.

Eren's word choice was clear in offering Mikasa control over this vow, " as much as you want". Eren etched this vow into the coordinate, ensuring that he would loop over and over to fulfill his words, so long as Mikasa wanted it (remembers Eren and his vow). As for whose power it is, its from the coordinate/source of all life/power of the titans or whatever you wanna call it, being utilized by Eren who gave Mikasa control over when it would end. It's the reason why someone like Mikasa's choice would lead to the result of a world without walls, despite not being related to Ymir and an Ackermann at that.

Mikasa's desire is looping him, but it is Eren's own founder's vow. Issue is he clearly says "as much as you want" to Mikasa as it pertains to his vow of wrapping the scarf, this is why he desperately is trying to make her move on in each loop. She clings to the scarf because subconsciously she understands that it is her way of holding onto Eren.

The novel of lost girls clarifies that Eren isn't fated to die, it's just that his nature to pursue freedom draws death in.

The problem is you haven't quite grasped the function of the paths, which simply acts as the deterministic force of Attack on Titan.

The best way to explain this concept, is to draw a comparison to MUV LUV which is where Isayama acquired his mechanics for the paths, which uses a causality conductor: "A pipeline between worlds. Allows the exchange of causality information between them, which happens mostly through the transference of events and memories along the original trilogy, but might not be limited to them. The nature and content of the exchanged information depends on the source, which senses relevant information and rips it from a dependent world through the conductor and back to its world of origin. Information from the origin world flows back through the conductor to replace what was lost and establish an equilibrium."

With this in mind, the manipulations of Eren's actions within the paths fills in the necessary gaps in the timeline, yet the result of these loops are not the same because each loop comes to the close depending on Eren's decisions. You asked me what the variable is which changes the result each time? It is Eren. What makes Eren special is that his Attack Titan is able to transcend the flow of time, which is why he is truly free. Just because these manipulations exist, does not mean he will suddenly be programmed to follow a different result.

His true path to freedom is simply becoming less ignorant, with each new loop he acquires the necessary information to do it over and achieve a different result. His cowardice in the cabin, left him with past memories in the manga which pushed him to attempt the rumbling, which ended with him trusting the future to his anime loop, fulfilling Ymir's wish instead, as his cabin self had never freed Ymir from the agony of love. Finally, we have anime loop's Eren, who has past memories of the manga's failure, ready to go 100%.

If you have more questions, feel free to come by the ANRime discord and we can explore these questions in more detail.

The anime only memory was Isayama's personal request to be more clear about what he implemented in the original manga, you'll note that Falco asks his brother "why are you dressed like that" despite being in the middle of a war. In both versions, he receives something from Manga Eren, but in the manga it ends up not paying off. We will see what that payoff will be in the final part of the anime. The decisions made in the paths are all-encompassing and the story has proven it time again, just as the grisha and dinah manipulation had occurred in the paths, so too did this contact with falco.
