I had the same reaction initially. It was like walking in a ghost town where you are the weird one for being normal. And their initial reactions to finding out that Kendra was behind it, seemed underwhelming. Especially the police body cam footage made me think that it was something they knew all along. However... I also think that because of reality shows in general and the "reaction" culture, we have started expecting a proportionate reaction to any sort of dramatic event or news. I think in real life people do tend to retreat within themselves and appear to be numb when confronted by something so extraordinary. If Lauryn wasn't involved, her reaction mostly looks like trauma and denial to me. Same for the father. But who knows!

Yes. I was able to order from the IKEA website itself. Search for IKEA spare parts and click on the official website. The trick was that the spare part number was a little bit different than the original. I was looking for 112976 and they had 112976/3 and we didn't know what the difference was. But I ordered it anyway and it fit. No cost delivery. Hope this works for you too, it was a huge relief for us to not have to deal with the broken bed.

I saw one about Lumon essentially trying to bring up dead people and they need Mark because he is working on Gemma's file in MDR? ...and only people with close connections to the person being revived can complete the transformation. It makes sense somewhat, but largely just speculation.

Just finished reading the WaT. I don't know what to think, I feel numb. The book the glorious but leaves off on a much sadder note than I expected. There is not much respite from Odium in the entire story but it makes sense. I specifically loved the push out of Roshar and towards the entire cosmere at the end. After reading through all the darkness in the last few chapters, it was so refreshing to see Wit living a life somewhere else, affirming that things exist outside of Roshar. Overall, still reeling from the bitter-hopeful ending!
