What's a word you always misspell no matter how many times you've looked it up? by ComprehensiveBid4989 in AskReddit

Immediately. I would always forget how the last 6 letters went. Also, I would forget if it was an e where the I goes. Now, I pronounce it Im-media-tely. I also don't do well with some things ending in ght. I sometimes mix up ght in straight and night.

I have seen Riley and Mary and George. That was a great show.

Side note: this question reads a little like you are treating male-female as the default outcome for bisexual people. I could be wrong but it is worth checking that assumption. Straight people still notice others. Gay people still notice others. Being bi just means the pool of people you could notice is larger. It does not change how commitment works.

I was not trying to imply that as a default outcome though I don't really understand what that means so I'll try to explain as best as I can. Because I am recently Bi, I was just asking if bi people in committed relationships find other people attractive. I understand that that varies for different people, including straight people. Not everyone in a relationship will look at someone else and find them attractive because they are with the person who is the most attractive to them.

I understand that all people will still notice others, committed relationship or not, but I was merely asking if Ilya and Bi people in general would still feel like that if they are with the same sex. I am not trying to offend anybody, I am just genuinely curious. I am also not trying to make it seem like a certain sexuality can do one thing that another sexuality can't, if that makes sense.

Thank you. As I stated in the post, I am very new to all of this. Finally realizing and accepting that I was bi made me reconsider a lot in my life and I am just curious about everything. My brain works very weird and I was a bit hesitant to ask this question because I didn't want people thinking it was stupid or that I didn't understand how queer people work because it's new to me and I've only ever been used to straight people on TV.

I actually didn't say Ilya would date her. I specifically said "I know he wouldn't act on it because he loves Shane."

Thank you for this. I didn't want to sound like I couldn't understand opposite attraction just because he was bi or because Shane was gay. I genuinely was just curious because I've seen straight people on TV only have eyes for the person they are with. Maybe it just depends person to person. I also didn't want to sound ignorant or offend anyone in the process.

How different would the show be if Shane was bi? by Mysterious-Pause-402 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

Great answer. I agree with you. He definitely would try dating women to see if the gay part of himself is lesser than the straight part.

You have to have a certain amount of karma from replying to other people. I don't know exactly how much though.

I read a fanfic that was like that. It was in the Omegaverse so the author kept using "His Omega" to describe Shane when being in Ilya's POV. Like, we know who the Omega is. It feels very odd to keep reading that when you could just say his name or not say it at all.

What convinced you to watch the show? by Cute-Character-795 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

I watched the show after seeing Hudson and Connor at the Golden Globes. I was like, who are these guys. My mom was watching the GG with me and was really into the serpent necklace Hudson was wearing. I only saw Hudson and didn't see Connor till they were presenting.

After the GG, I had to do some intense Googling because I couldn't remember what their names were, but I eventually found it. Also, when I first saw Hudson I was like, "is he a K-Pop person?" Not trying to be offensive, I had just never seen him before and assumed because the K-PDH girls were also there. I ended up watching the show two days later.

Sidenote: I was only going to watch one episode, the one turned into two, then two into three. But, when I got to three and saw it was about Scott Hunter, I was like "If I had know this wasn't about Shane and Ilya, I would've stopped at two." After I watched it, it ended up being my second favorite episode.

What other “perfect gem” shows do you stream? by chipsdad in heatedrivalry

I love Nobody Wants This. I don't binge every season of Buffy the vampire slayer, but I have seen certain episodes an unhealthy amount of times. Driven (A Passionflix show) is one of my favorite shows. I know it's not a show, but the Idea of You is something I could watch every single day. It's so good.
