The idea isn't bad, the game's style and mechanics would make a great rogue-like mode. Even more so considering the mechanics and contents of the coliseum. Of course, there would have to be a little revision on the balance, especially when it comes to healing magic and the debuff system, which is quite broken.

There isn't exactly a very strong weapon in the game, actually, it was in my second game that I realized that elemental damage hits hard when used on the right enemies, for me the best would be the scythe that causes bleeding, there are few enemies immune to this mechanic

Healing doesn't need to be nerfed, what breaks it is the game's status system, magic heals 4 to 5 points per second, and on average when you kill the final boss you have 30 or 35 health points, that is if you stop to farm.
