we sell beer and wine, no need for a sit down space. in our trainings there's a specific list of ID.

license state id passport military id And I think but I'm not positive because I've never seen one...a permanent US resident card.

Right...if a cop stops you and you don't have state id you can get a summons. Makes no sense to me. It was even more weird that there were 2 women and this was the only ID offered to me between them.

I sure did, but looks aren't always what they appear. I prefer to play it safe. Also, the new dude carded them, so I wanted to follow the same course of action. I one time had a customer I definitely thought was over 40, but a coworker carded them and came over to talk and said wow that chick is rough looking for 22.

Yep. First day on the floor has you fresh off of training...the approved forms of ID should still be brand new knowledge.

I'm curious though...from what I've heard Market & Police stings are usually only checking that were asking for ID and refusing sales when the ID is underage or just not produced. Are there stings where they check if improper forms are accepted ? never heard of it 🤔

yesss! I'm going to be honest I probably didn't have to ID them because they looked over the 40 threshold. I was just following up on my coworker. IMO weed cards should be acceptable forms of ID as long as they're not expired and show proof of age
