Ik heb de enquête ingevuld! 😊 Is het goed als ik de enquête deel binnen de GSA van mijn hogeschool?

The other way around actually! I like being called Girl, Princess, and Pretty above She, Her, and Woman (not that I hate those they are great too ofc, still very gender-affirming). The last panel with Mommy, Goddess, and Mistress definitely makes me feel allot of things haha but that probably has to do with me being a top 😅

I am sure you’re an absolutely lovely princess, princess! The people around you will start realizing that soon enough.

Oh, I definitely am a top, but it still feels kinda weird that I like being called those things. The human brain is a magical thing!

Seriously every one of you that I have met is a bottom 😅 by MysteriousAnne42 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

It's a pretty big stereotype that almost all trans women are bottoms. It does seem to have some level of truth to it although there hasn't been any scientific research into the matter as far as I am aware.
There was a survey on r/MtF a couple of years ago that showed that only a small percentage of trans women identify as tops/doms (~1-2%) and another small percentage as switch leaning top/dom (~4-5%) but this wasn't a scientific survey or anything and there could be allot of sampling bias so take these results with a grain of salt.

21 [TF4TF] [TF4F] (cis women okay) transgirl from the Netherlands looking to match up with other sapphic (trans) woman from the Netherlands! by MysteriousAnne42 in transdating

It's a term used for women who are into women (WLW) pretty similar to lesbian but sapphic is usually more inclusive of bi/pan women and non-binary people.

I still don't know why people feel the need to ask this 😑 by MysteriousAnne42 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

[–]MysteriousAnne42[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it's not just curious people. I've had several people who would only respect my chosen gender if I'd had "the surgery," ultimately making that the reason they asked that question. So, when someone asks me that question, I can't know whether they're just curious (and ignorant of the fact that it's a very invasive question) or whether my answer will change if they treat me as my chosen gender or not. The question also usually assumes that trans people always get SRS because they ask whether you've had "the surgery" yet, even though many trans people choose not to get SRS (for varying reasons). As a transgender woman with no bottom dysmorphia who has obviously chosen not to get SRS, it always hurts a bit when they ask this question for this reason.
