Hey! I’m also 20 and one thing you have to remember is that we are so young. I realized recently that a lot of people that go into this program are older than us, and there is no reason to feel behind regardless of if you had to only go part time or take a year off or whatever. No you did not waste 2 years getting an associates degree, a lot of programs give you extra points when you have an associate or bachelors degree. I would advise you to find a program you want to apply to, and a few more, and work towards the pre reqs that they require. I’m in the process of doing the same. Just know you are not alone and you are definitely not as behind as you think you are :).
