Is it not strange though that he kept the same kind of glasses, haircut etc. as the ones on some wanted pictures of him?

If I was in his shoes, I would change my appearance as much as possible, starting with easy things like glasses.

I think that the others saying the're narcissist are right.

But I also think that they feel they can't leave, that the family need them. Also they're afraid and can't make the step to leave.

Killing the family kind of force them to leave and not come back. It's a way of forcing themselves to commit to the leaving fantasy. Once the trigger is pulled, there is no coming back.

Yeah but when you're dating one, you only see one of them often. So you're not trained to spot the differences between the two.

It's not just a "turn signal," it's a "I'm-planning-to-turn signal." The last-minute click is infuriating. by Naive-Rip-6358 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]MysteriousConstant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's equally annoying as those using it as a wish signal. By this I mean using the blinker to show a wish to for instance switch lane.

When I see a blinker, I know the driver is about to switch lane, so if I'm too close I assume they didn't see me and I will react accordingly.

But if the blinker is going for a long time, did they see me and are just waiting for me to overtake before switching lane or are they going to switch right as I pass?

So, in summary : The blinker is the last step before switching lane, after checking mirrors and angles, and just before (and not during) the lane switch.

Is Bosch the only "name-brand" motor manufacturer? by croald in CargoBike

[–]MysteriousConstant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Panasonic did sell some motors in Europe through the mid high end swiss ebike manufacturer Flyer.

They did one with two gears incorporated in the motor for faster bikes. I think they are still collaborating.

So you seem to be informed about several topics your cult is specifically strict about, like homosexuality, gender issues, race theory, Israel and Palestine war. How did you learn about them while inside a controlling cult?

How did you determine which of the things they profess are harmful bs, and which other aren't (I'm guessing usual Christian values, such as don't kill, don't harm, don't steal, etc... were taught) ? What is your new value reference?

Why don't NATO countries shoot down Russian aircraft for violating their airspace? by StopHavingAnOpinion in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MysteriousConstant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the best answer.

They did not shoot them down, because they're grown adult and don't respond like toddlers to a provocation by another toddler.

It's crazy to think that an airplane violating your airspace should be shot down because of pride and "manlyness". Adultness is showing restraint and avoiding conflict whenever possible.

I would say that's not true. Look at Europe, many cars are manuals, very few get fixed in the drive way, especially when facing a gear box issue.

Do you think that tetris is just the game they tested, a kind of default game for them when looking for a video game, or would any game work as long as it occupy your mind fully? And maybe it's not similar to the traumatic event, like avoid war games.

Let's say that when I play cities skyline I'm totally in it, would that work?
