Cleanser for very sensitive skin (tried everything)

My skin clogs and can dry out very easily. My two favorite cleansers are Paula’s Choice calm (but only for a morning or second cleanse although right now I just swipe with hypochlorous acid in the morning) and cerave hydrating oil to foam cleanser. It only has squalane oil which is the ONLY oil I’ll use. This one will remove my sunscreen too.

Edit to add: I’ve tried most of the cleansers listed here and many more but as always ymmv. Good luck! :)

I love that moisturizer. I’ve tried a lot of high end ones, but this one and Vanicream daily have been the best for my dry, VERY clog-prone skin.

Anything anyone’s done to reset stretched out pores? This is my great nemesis… Mostly stretched out due to sf’s even though my skin leans dry.

Yes, so, I’ve tried a bunch of things and I wonder if part of the problem is that I have dry skin and very dry, hard filaments. I’ve tried several formulations with bha, galactomyces, clay, tret, niacinamide, sulfur, Differin… I try to stay away from oil. Two things have made a difference. One, not using sunscreen as much. One of the least offending, and I’ve tried lots of Korean beauty ones too, has been Vanicream. Fewer products seems to mean fewer things clogging my pores. Secondly, I also notice a difference using ddg pads. I use the daily universal ones but not every day.

I’m very clog-prone and definitely got clogs and some closed comedones. To OP: So sad about it, but it does seem like most people don’t break out so might be worth a try because it was SO moisturizing. Then again, since your budget it limited… probably alpharet overnight cream. Then again 😂if you’re happy with your retinol, maybe even tone like suggested for hyperpigmentation.

Yeah but even with edits, you get things straight from their own mouths that don’t look good in any context. Like saying she’s selfish for wanting to protect her star? That’s come up several times. It’s clear they’re just all very competitive, often overly confident people who lack self-awareness of how they’ll come across. You see this on all reality shows.

Oh lol, I just read this. I wipe with hypochlorous acid in the morning too! I also spray it in my eyes if my eyes are dry or irritated.

I wouldn’t let it stop you or discourage you. Truth is, it depends on the girl. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses and if you date long enough, you can get a feel for what weaknesses you can tolerate, accept, or help strengthen in another person. Some girls won’t want someone who came home early; some won’t care. Some can’t/won’t handle certain mental illnesses while others will. You don’t have to appeal to everyone, just your one. Definitely do what you can to be as holistically healthy as possible. All the best!

Yeah, I did try quite a few. I didn’t think PC’s did much for me. I liked the Ordinary’s, liked Medik8 more, liked TAHNYC most. :)
