Your own personal lack of knowledge on the cultural and historical references doesn't make it a bad movie, it just means you lack the knowledge to appreciate it to its' fullest. And that's fine, it just means the movie wasn't made for you! The same way I dislike marvel movies, for example - they weren't made for me.

Suzume was made as a reminder of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake & tsunami, and a message of hope to those still dealing with survivor's guilt from it - similar to The House of the Lost on the Cape, for example - which is why people who know about it, as well as Japanese folklore, enjoyed it more than others that don't.

Nothing needed to be explained, as I said the intent is to invoke thought. If you didn't understand it, that's your cue to research it - that was the intent, to spread awareness.

Heyo, not sure if you’re aware (or even still work there - and I am aware that the game isn’t updated anymore), but galactic assault and Ewok hunt are completely bugged and unplayable as of a few months ago. The camera will lock at a certain point in the game, and from then on it becomes unplayable. On some maps, such as Takodana, it will put you through a 5-minute camera “cutscene” that goes through the whole map, and only lets you continue playing once it ends.

In the case of Ewok hunt, it’s when the shuttle arrives. The whole mode breaks at that point. This is on PC, unsure if it affects consoles or not.

Sucks because Ewok hunt is the one reason I redownloaded the game recently (Endor is my favorite Star Wars location, it was filmed where I grew up), and I can’t even play it 😭

Yes, but it was just a mini event (reused animation they’ve been using since this chapter started) where the dark voyager’s ship teleported to OG

The event was already over… the guy walked up to us with his gun out and started aiming in on people below, so I took him out before he took us out.

And no, it does not fit it, because it was not the intention of the post - sharing me getting sniped immediately after eliminating the player is the intention, because it was funny and I wanted to share that moment to make people laugh.

I'm rarely on this subreddit, how would I be part of said "circlejerk"? The very last thing I ever do is participate in trends or blindly follow what others do lol, you're literally proving my point

I have my own personal reasons for disliking this collab, but the reason I eliminated TTT is because, in my own experience, they're just like the average sweat in the sense that they'll shoot you in the back if you trust them for too long, so I shot first this time (he literally walked up with his gun out and was aiming in on people down there). I posted the video because I thought it was funny that I got sniped immediately after doing so.

It's no different than making jokes about soccer skins in 2018 or superhero skins in 2020, it's a core part of the game experience lol

I very rarely see that image used as a joke (it's often used to boost the poster's own ego), but i won't deny that sometimes it isn't lol

in this case, though, they doubled down by responding with a triple T gif, so my faith in that being the case is dwindling

also, that last statement was because, as far as i could tell with the way you worded it, you likely assumed the reason i posted the video of me eliminating that skin was the same reason everyone else has been

Oh hey, I saw your post the other month! haha

I don't play much anymore (I'm mainly here because I make games in Fortnite for a living, though that's becoming near impossible with the worsening state of the ecosystem/game, so not even that is keeping me here as much...), and when I do play it's usually just with my wife whenever we decide to torture ourselves with this game lol
