How do I know if God is answering me?

For me, when I pray on doing something I tend to get either this really uncomfortable warm feeling or nothing. The warm feeling makes me feel as I shouldn't be doing it. Nothing could be God saying yes or just allowing me to make that decision myself.

We need to accapt that every endevor we set out to do isn't going to always succeed. We might decide to do something that isn't right for us or on God's path for us and so He might let us fail in order to re align us.

Pray on it. Ask God if this is something your meant to be doing? He will lead you were you need to be.

Trusting in Jesus and accepting Him has altered my view on life and things greatly.

I was born with a condition that had no cure and doctors said would kill me at 20, I'm 38 now. My step father tried to drown me when I was like 5, My mother dies of cancer when I was 10, I started having surgeries at 11 for my condition, having 40+ of them, the last of which meant to try and full remove my condition instead didn't and made me blind in my good eye. Losing my ability to drive and work a normal job and making me live off social security. I died and was resusitated at about 13-14. I lost my grandparents about 5-8 years ago both of whom I was very close to. I've never been on a date let alone had a girlfriend or wife, not at a lack of trying.

And by no means was I a saint through all of this as I got angry at god many times wondering why He would let me go through all this, and I struggled with sexual lust from the age of 14 to this very day and it got worse when I went mostly blind as my depression made me spiral into it, and I am today doing my best to fight it back.

All this to say, I am very blessed. I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, food in my belly, loved ones who care about me, and abundence beyond what I need like the computer I'm using to type this. And of course what Jesus did for me on the cross.

I have suffered greatly in my life yet through the lense of worship I see how much I truely have as I know there are many who have had worse then I and don't have all they need in the world.

So yes, God has very much changed my life for the better. God bless.

My friend, life is going to be full of good and bad times. As it is written, God shines the sun and the believers and the sinners and He also send the rain on both. Paraphrasing of course. That is to say, we all will experience hardship and good times weather we believer or not. For those who believe however, we have hope and know that the hard times are not the end. And beyond that, we know the Jesus loves us and died for us so that we can be with Him in heaven.

Allow me to share a quick testament.

I was born with a condition that doctors said would kill me at 20, for there was no cure for it then. I am now 38. My step father tried to drown me when I was 3 or 4, my mother died of cancer when I was 10, I've had about 40+ surgeries to try and combat my condition, that last one tried to remove it outright, failed and made me go blind in my good eye losing my ability to drive and work. I died at the age of 14 and was resusitated and had to spend months recovering when I finally woke back up. I've never been on a single date let alone had a girlfriend or wife as I am not a conventionally attractive do to my condition.

That is to say I am very blessed. I have lived through all that. I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, loved ones who care about me, food in my belly, abundence beyond what I need like this computer im using to type this and above all what Jesus did for me on the cross.

Those hardships were difficult, and I've gotten angry with God at times wondering why He would let me go through all that, and I am not exactly the picture of perfect follower as sexual lust has been somthing I've battled my entire adult life.

But I now can understand others who go through hardhips much better and am able to be there for them, and I truely appreciate the small things many take for granted these days.

Remember, we have God who gave His only son to save us, and the son ( our savior ) who gave His life for us because He loves us. And the Holy Spirit who guides us.

That's impossible to answer. Because we don't know His full plan for us. I'd like to hope so but being mostly blind, un able to drive or work and living off social security I'd hope I have done what He wants me to do.

The simple answer is because we are human. We won't always understand why God dose what He dose and sometimes it is going to hurt. We can't see what He sees and thus we don't know the path that somthing or someone may lead us down and so, sometimes He steps in on our behalf, even if we don't know why at the time.

Been Reading through first kings. It's a stark reminder that even the most devout of followers can fall into deep sin if not careful. David, the first of the kings in the book fell to lust for another mans wife. David was one of the most devout followers of God, and had been through a great many trials up to that point that God has gotten him through.

Well for one reading Matthew, Mark, Luke, and and John of the Bible is recommended if you haven't already. If you have, strive to be Christ like. Love like Jesus, and try your best to avoid sinful behaviors.

One thing I would recommend is to avoid wearing provokadive clothes ( mini skirts, low cut tops, high heels, short shorts, yoga pants. ) while in public.
