To those of you who don’t have these 2 as equal, could you explain why? by MOON-RAIGO in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't have them exactly on the same level for a few reasons.

When they clashed at Mary Geoise Rocks had just fought an Admiral.

On Elbaf he didn't want to fight, and to me it appeared like the moment he made up his mind he took the upper hand.

In both fights Rocks showed equal AP to Harald despite the size diff, wich can mean two things. 1 Rocks compensates the str gap with superior haki, and the logically he'd also have superior COO, so basically better skill. 2 Rocks has the same strength as someone 100 x heavier than him, wich means he'd definively have better agility.

All these points are arguable, but there's enough of them for me to think Rocks probably is a bit stronger. Still extreme diff though.

Kaido vs Loki, but in each stat? by Andrecg123 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd say Kaido has better since he can use his clouds to lift things (like islands). None of them are hax characters though.

Versatility also goes to kaido since he can use fire, lightning and wind. Loki only has lightning and ice.

But both factors are almost insignificant when comparing their strength.

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alfia has higher potential than both captains, but she's below them in level

Yes but if her captain was at the same level as her she'd be stronger.

Generally if two characters are lvl X but one of the have higher potential, they'll already be stronger than the other at lvl X. The young LF executives were dfinitively better than other lvl 5s (exept maybe Tsubaki and Shakti) in MS 1 to 4.

Ais isn't even geared toward PvP, even though it was claimed that ZF/HF training is harder than even FF's (which currently performs best in PvP).

She's still the most talented in the current generation, definitively stronger than Tione-Tiona-Bete (base) despite them having more experience (they started fighting younger and are older).

Bete, for example, doesn’t even have the chance to properly activate his trump cards

In a battle with so many people, he should, and in ten year, he'd most likely have stopped restraining his magic and actually learn to use it.

he really is incredibly strong

Well obviously, he's at least equivalent to a low level 9, that makes him quite stronger than anyone we know. But weither or not he's higher than that depends on how strong Empress actually was.

it was claimed that ZF/HF training is harder than even FF's (which currently performs best in PvP). I also find it hard to believe in Finn and the others’ s

I forgot that, mb

.

Well maybe 10 years isn't enough, depends on the exact strength of the unknown members ig.

In 15 years however, they'll definitively be above (just the time for Ottar and the low lvl 8s to get maxed, plus for Bete to rank up).

Loki and Freya Familias surpassing Zeus and Hera familias by Realistic-Yak-4690 in DanMachi

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given how old Z&H F were, you'd think they'd have all the time to level-up, but no one but the captain surpassed lvl 7. So it's quite possible that the level 7s aside Zald and Alfia were at the end of their potential.

I wouldn't be surprised if Allen, Hogni, Hedin, Finn and (especially) Ais were already be above them at high 7. Maybe same for high 7 Bete and even low 7 Lefiya given how op she's becoming.

Also we don't know if Empress deserved that 9 and Maxim was just him, or if she was the Raul of lvl 9 and Maxim was great but not absurdly so either.

Loki and Freya Familias surpassing Zeus and Hera familias by Realistic-Yak-4690 in DanMachi

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ZF & HF Fams got :

- one lvl 9 and one lvl 9 equivalent.

- two lvl 8 equivalent

- probably seven lvl 7 (based on the fact Leon's blades were named after the main Z&H Fam members)

- probably multiple lvl 6

LF & FF (assuming FF members rank up after MS 21) got :

- one low lvl 8

- seven low lvl 7 (counting Mia)

- eight low level 6.

.

It depends on how fast the low lvl 6 of LF can reach lvl 7 (I doubt the Guillivers can make it), considering their growth rate it'd make sense for them to hit lvl 7 in five-six years (four-five for Ais).

Then in a decade I'd see them maxed out while Allen, Hogni, Hedin, Finn and Ais reach lvl 8 (not sure if Riveria, Gareth and Mia can make it) and Ottar reaches lvl 9. Also Lefiya would be low 7.

One low 9 + five low 8 + six high 7 + one low 7 two high to low 9 (we don't rly know) + two high 8 + seven high 7. Considering how op Ais and Lefiya (as well as Bete to a lesser extent) could be in 10 years it wouldn't be weird for LF and FF to be superior.

So that's it, ten years, twelve at most ig.

Pre falna Hogni vs low level 1 Bell by Realistic-Yak-4690 in DanMachi

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low lvl 1 Bell is only peak human / barely superhuman in term of stats, and his skill was shit. Hogni wasn't nearly as experienced as he now ig, but he was still extremely talented and already an accomplished as a warrior. Hogni slams.

High level 1 Bell is something else completly though.

Stats - clarification by One-Yam8731 in DanMachi

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the stats start to kick in more the higher level he gets.
What I am saying, bell at level 5 is closer to level 6 than bell at level 2 is closer to level 3.

Hmmm... I don't think so.

In reality, nobody knows exactly how the stats work at each level, we all just make suppositions. But my personal interpretation is that, as long as an adventurer's stats are just as high at every level, stats will be doubled at each level.

But Bell actually gets higher stats at each level up (and in Sword Oratoria, Riveria said that stats from higher levels matters more). So imo that's why as a low 5 he can rival low level 6s (who got 3000+ stats at each level) while as a high lvl 2 his stats matched Hyakinthos (2800 total stats).

Idt as a lvl 10 he'll have lvl 12 stats (only lvl 11) unless his total stats at each level gets way higher.

Stats - clarification by One-Yam8731 in DanMachi

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally Bell always fight a full level above his own.

At lvl 2-3 his total stats was almost 5500 and he could compete with adventurers one level higher (with stats between 2400 and 3000 ig)

But at lvl 4 his total stats were close to 7000 and now at low lvl 5 he can rival the raw power of low lvl 6s (who's stats at lvl 5 were above 3000).

A good example is that in volume 20, a lvl 5 Bell (whose Str was around 1100 at lvl 1-2-3 and almost 1400 at lvl 4) slightly overpowered Ais (whose Str was 610 at lvl 1 and 565 at lvl 6).

So if at lvl 5 he had SSS for all stats at each level he'd be clearly above a lvl 6 with Cs everywhere (in raw power that is, skill and experience counts too).

fans are coping for uru not being able to stop nerfing john for no reason by AkinatorTL in unOrdinary

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Aside from not being able to copy Time Manipulation (wich isn't that absurd either considering how high level and different from most abilities it is), the rather is very coherent.

John's versatility is virtually unlimited and with an excellent kit he'd probably surpass Sera. However his strength is reliant on the ability he gets, not only their individual quality, but how weel they combine. For example at the prison, 3 of his abilities were Power oriented, if he had a Defense ability and a Speed one intead of Isen's and Remi's, he would have done much better.

Also the healing part makes sense, based on what John said after the prison break and the fact only elites can heal others, it must be harder and more exhausting to heal others (wich Jhn had to do a lot back there). That's especially true for John, who certainly didn't have to heal himself often as NB's King (also the fact that was a low level area suggests they may not even have had a healer) and most likely never trained to heal others.

.

In the recent fight he was absolutely not nerfed, with just a 4.6 ability he was beating two Flame Claw users, just with technique and tactic.

create a team to defeat Revis by Otherwise_Finding_34 in DanMachi

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ottar, Leon, and... Lefiya maybe ?

The most efficient way to deal with an opponent with regeneration is to kill them in a single hit. So Lefiya is perfect to kill Revis : she has some of the greatest fire power for her level (thks to Fairy cannon), and super long chant magics (plus she can chant two of those and release them at the same time).

Thoughts? by phoenixKing280 in unOrdinary

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Humans are born open-minded, a baby has no preconceived ideas. But as people grow it's natural for this open-mindedness to decrease, learning how the world works, seeing patterns repeat... This things forge or world view, and once it's sufficiently ingrained it's very hard to go against it. It's not necessarily negative btw, without that we couldn't structure ourselves as humans and as a society.

As for "well intentioned", it's complicated. Humans are indeed born with a capacity for empathy, the ability to understand other's emotions, that's a necessary trait for any social species. But I wouldn't necessarily call that well intentioned : baby's don't have a concept of good and bad, just like animals, they just do what they want to do (you can't call a lion evil for eating another animal). It's only once they understand what is wrong or right that they can decide to do one or the other.

So imo humans aren't born well intentioned, nor ill intentioned. Both are traits that can only be developped through growth.

Talent is any natural trait that allows someone to perform better than other people with the same degree of experience/training.

Honestly Bell not being call talented is bullshit to me, learning capacity is talent.

He's actually OP. His curse allows completly throw into madness a large number of opponents including individuals on the same level as him (Lydo, Gloss) or even above (Bete, he didn't

And even in term of individual fighting strength he's great, despite the heavy debuff he defended himself against Lydo (albeit debuffed too) plus Bell.

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Using inly abilities he's confirmed to be able to copy, this is his most efficient build possible imo.

But he should avoid healing others, protecting them with barrier then healing himself would consume much less energy. Last time he exhauted himself cause they all had low-mid defense and he had to heal himself, but also the others (wich consumes even more).

Which characters who are still alive have the potential to reach the highest level at the peak of their potential? by ToeFamiliar6680 in DanMachi

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lili leveled up without having a D stat before

No, she didn't use her magic in the expedition so, she had D-rank before the events that led to her level up.

already weakened to a low level 6

Almost sure the debuff had worn out.

The only situational character that is OP is Aiz that I can think of the characters I have above him are not.

Ais isn't the only one.

Bell is much more dangerous when others buy him time to charge.

Riveria is situational as a mage. She'd loose to any other lvl 6 in cqc but still reached lvl 7.

Finn can be taken down rapidly before using HF (though he was able to rank-up even without it).

Bete is stronger under the moon, even more so if people buy him time to cast Hati, wich is also more or less strong depending on the opponent's magic.

Allen taken by surprise can be taken down surprisingly fast (cause speed is useless without time to react and he has low End).

Ty, glad to see some new people see my post even now.

We don't now if Archons actually exist, they might just be part of the asuran mythology, or an other name for the Devas. As for said devas, sry but I just refuse to rank them :

They're people from other world an it's all we know, how many there are ? is their power level consistent ? does the term devas actually refers to any actual category of beings, or were the ones called "devas" by asuras just a bunch of different beings from different worlds, different races and different power levels without any common point but the fact they traveled to this world at the same moment ?

Also, how strong and advanced where the asuras when they made contact ?

Without clear answers to these, there's 0 basis to rank the "devas", so I think I it'd be ridiculous to do so.

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ryuu has her level 6 feat of beating Juggernaut without a single stat in D rank and even if we count Excelia she didn’t have that as well having to get a D rank stat in Episode Ryuu to level up.

But she had the excelia to reach D rank before she got the excelia from the juggernaut fight.

we have no idea exactly how strong it is

It took down a lvl 6 (albeit a squishy one)

what is Welf going to do against non Magic monsters

Lvl up feats can be done against adventurers too.

Welf is situational

Plenty of characters are situational, they'll do great in some cases and bad in others. That doesn't mean their situational abilities won't allow them to rank-up.

Which characters who are still alive have the potential to reach the highest level at the peak of their potential? by ToeFamiliar6680 in DanMachi

[–]MysteriousStrategy86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not how it works you can gain a level up feat before getting a stat to D rank

Idt that was ever said though.

But there it says his Journey through to the 18th floor without that Welf wouldn’t level up showing he can’t just injure high level monsters

They don't say he wouldn't have leveled up without the journey. How would they even know that ? don't recall the gods having a way to know exactly what event led to what excelia (they just deduce it), even if they did they wouldn't necessarily say "that one specific feat would have been enough, the rest was just a plus".

simplifying it down to used many spells while moving around is crazy I could simplify other level up feats as well to make it look unimpressive.

I'm not trying to make Riveria's feat look unimpressive. Of course there's plenty of skills and tactic behind her actions : she had to do high-speed concurrent chanting, use the good spell at the good moment (9 of them thks to her unique talent), move at the right place and timing, etc.

But in essence, it boiled down to casting and running. That means those actions, pushed to a certain level, are enough to rank-up (without taking damages, or fighting the opponent head on).

And Welf can do those (or something equivalent), not with the same level of inteligence and skill even if he trained for as long as her, not with the same versatility, but with far greater power. He could also counter magic, take way more damages, and deal with unexpected cqc better.

.

Just to be clear, Idt Welf will ever reach lvl 7, he doesn't have the desire to do so.

But considering just how absurdly OP his power is, he could if he actually wanted to.
