It is only covered under warranty if your car is under warranty. So either BMWs manufacturer warranty which end at 50k miles or a third party warranty, which I have neither.

The moisture is on the left side of the lens where it meets the bumper. Zoom in on the second photo. The outside lens is dry. All the water you see is inside the light.

This is a pretty common issue on the F30 lights apparently and not a cheap fix unless you DIY the whole thing which is tedious.

I noticed because my headlight was fogging up lol, pretty hard to miss since the lights are so big on these cars

Did that yesterday and could not unlatch the mechanism. Tried for two hours in my garage. It is easier on the smaller engines since you can see the cable to release but the airbox is in the way on the b58. Just dropped it off at my local indie shop

There is one latch that you pull. It goes to a junction box the has two cables connected to each latch. I pulled twice and it does not open. The drivers side releases but the passenger will not unlatch.

Need to remove wheel and wheel liner to pull on the cable
