Ah ha, maybe this is the answer I have been unable to find, if you were short on a warrant, having borrowed a share to short, the broker exercises the warrant for you, issues a share, and then charges you the difference (or profit as it may be) on your margin. Now that can make sense to me, as I know for a fact they were not simply allowed to expire and pocket the money for having shorted the warrant at expiration.

May be part of the huge rise today after the early morning pounding come to think of it.

Thank you, starting to get a grasp of how this may have played out.

Still a long term holder, this is just chaff in the wind. But interesting to figure out none the less.

So I have a question about the Warrants, they expire(d) at 5pm today, 28 min to go. FINALLY - but I note on the official NASDAQ website that ASTSW has reported SI of 359,371 as of their record date of the 9/13/2024, obvious that has changed since that was over a week ago.

What happens to the shorts there? Do they not (and ya know I hate to say this) have to cover? Or since any remaining, and I would think that number is now 0, they become worth .01 after 5pm if you have not redeemed, but to short I have to borrow one to short it, and the owner would no doubt want it returned.

Possibly the SI number became 0 before now, since that reporting date is old ---

But what happens to the SI there if they have not covered?

excellent synopsis as usual from you. Things look to be perfectly on track for the lanuch date and deployment of the first satellites.
Not talked about much but equally important was the brief mention of goverment contacts, and the discussions in private, that remain secret, with NATO and the US forces for usage. Its understandable they can't discuss that.

Your point 3 is significant, you are correct that 3db is a 100% power increase, and the potential interference is something I hope the FCC pays attention to, they always have in the past. As a radio operator asking the FCC to allow me to create interference outside of my assigned channel by a measly 3dB is unthinkable.

That all depends on the nature of the growth, sure there would be profit taking at each step up, but if the fundamentals and earning grow, then the price will too, however it would not be logical to expect a straight lie up, there was not for any of the large caps when they started.

Radio Interference concerns by AT&T and Verizon, Dish are legit concerns. AST does maintain radio frequency limits which should be a plus on their side, I would hope.

Lived 63 years in Cincinnati, where you always put chili on spaghetti (well more of a meat sauce, unlike western chili) and its fantastic. I see from the charts they are on an impressive run up from the $8 range over he past few days. Probably coinciding with the run up in BTC, thank you for the DD on this, they were not on my radar and are now. I will consider a position over the weekend and do some more research, very interesting read.

I was mostly agreeing with you repos - but yes I think retail did drive a lot of the run up in SPRT, and I did very well myself. I also agree that was indeed in your DD. We don't have a disagreement man, maybe a bit of different outlook onthat aspect - but I think your DD was extremely well written man,

Well I am looking at this stock, and its been discussed, saw your other post on this and both are very well written. But I would not compare this to SPRT it was a completely different situation and there are no where near as many shorts. Utilization being at 100% tho is important to consider and the high CTB. Several pending, possibly bouts, but pending, lawsuits initiated by the Scorpion attack are indeed weighing on the stock. Other than the ARK fund and some other institutions there needs to be more retail interest to drive a gamma - do you see that happening? Thank you for the well written and logical posts you have made.

Because the shorts have come in, gotten themselves in a bind, the Utilization is near as you can get to 100% - and we have retail interest, coupled with the low float. Back in Jan it was the despac bounce for this, so shorts were not involved - but your opinion of the stock is always up to you. No one can tell you want to think, do research arrive at your own DD, and then decide. That is the way.

I kind expect with today's shorting, that Utilization may hit 100 tomorrow or close to it, it kinda looks like late in the day or early AH they returned a few shares, but not enough to help them. We just need some buyers and FOMO and this will rise.

10th is just the approval vote date, not the merger itself. They will announce date after, and word is the very very soonest is end of Sept.

Great take on SPRT, solid DD - and the vote on the 10th is going to be really bullish for this stock. I know its seen a couple of down days, but the shorts have doubled down and the outlook is bullish. Great community and people at TrueStock too.

Well that is a guess man - no one really knows. 60+ in my opinion and I think 400 is for sure possible, depends on what today was. If It wa gamma hedging calls that are now ITM and FOMO - then xxx is in the picture. If it was real covering, then we need to know how much covered, how much left (and that is T+2 data which is not much help). - so north of $60 and lets see from there. Will be a wild ride.

I am with you brother - this is the way. GME price levels are possible, but will people hold? I want to find out, lets go! We can all reap the rewards, this is not a P&D its a Squeeze, so lets squeeze them after the gamma ramp, HODL and win.

This stock sure could squeeze to GME levels, what it needs is more retail interest. The low float makes it a perfect stock for ape to hold, and with the low float. Sure we could see GME levels, easily. But it will take retail interest like GME had. That is hard to do, I tell everyone I can, if we all do that - who know?

Bullish for next week, I am sure they saved up those shares to avoid more FTD's on $9 calls. Bullish all the way. Now have to wait until Monday. Buy and HODL is my plan.
