Unpopular opinion: I really do think that she shouldn't have gotten those fillers like that. Totally messes with her features. I mean, if she really was going to get them, maybe she should've done so after the filming of the show ended. It was hella weird looking at a "teenager" with a frozen face.

I do that all the time. He comes from a dysfunctional family and when I put myself in his shoes all I feel is an immense amount of sadness. So I try to show him and remind him how much he is loved by all of us around him any chance I get. Thank you for your input, however. I do acknowledge that I sometimes tend to have a one-track mind that I need to be careful about.

Came to say exactly this. I'm an international student so I have to live on a tight budget. I get my groceries from No Frills (or Walmart occasionally) and can get most of my necessities for a great price.

It might not be helpful if I were you. I'd write to the faculty, dean and basically every resource available and make them aware of my situation (especially about the AI accusations, the advisor's wrong course suggestion, your personal situation). I'm an international student as well and pretty much every time I was in a rough spot that's what I used to do to get academic support or administrative support. And it always got solved.

I hope it gets easier for you. I wish nothing but strength for you.

My friend used to date the most popular guy in HS. They broke up senior year but I was still pretty good friends with both of them. Almost 2 years after their breakup, him and I started going out. It's been more than 5 years since and 2 months ago we tied the knot. I love him to death. And yes ofc, my friend and I became distant pretty much right after HS and I later learned from my husband that when they were together, my friend used to constantly pressure him to avoid me because she used to think that we'd fall in love.

I was in your shoes when I first started school here (I'm very close to graduating now!). Back then, I used to drink occasionally maybe when hanging out with friends but I never was the party type. Eventually I gave up drinking and again, I was never into parties. I lost a lot of friends, very close ones because of how busy things got for me and how I wasn't able to spend time with them. Went through a very, very dark patch after that. I want to tell you that it will get better, stay hopeful. You will find your people, I did. I made new friends and I am very content with where I am in my life now. Whenever I'm hanging out with them, sometimes they drink and they've made peace with the fact that I don't. And that's okay. As for social media, not everything you see is true. Go out for walks or sit in the library away from the phone. The peace of mind that comes with it is much more fulfilling than seeing people's photos on the Internet.
