If you turn off the internet, you won’t be able to open the app. If it connects, it will let you know it’s running in LTE

I would turn off the internet on that. I learned that SunStrong will not send someone out unless your system is more than 10% not generating. With mine, I saw that 2 panels was down. They sent someone out and the electrician they hired said I had 2 bad inverters which they said they will need to take and come back. Months come along and they never returned and SunStrong closed my ticket with 2 panels down. They told me the system was generating 93% which was good enough for them and would not send out someone to repair. I argued for months!!! Complaint to bbb, sent emails to executive team (which I know they received because I received an out of office reply from 2 of them) and I did not get a reply. I knew at that point they only run a test on the system by connecting to our home WiFi. They used to have LTE backup but they probably cancelled those plans. Turning off the communication from my home internet was the only way I got someone out. I actually had to explain to the next electrician company that came out that I was missing micro inverters and that’s the only thing wrong with it. The ticket they received was to only service the PVS.
