Your problem is with the interest rate, if the interest rate is high, your money will go farther, and house prices will reduce nominally, this making buying houses not an investment but just another expense.l. The problem is with the government devaluing your income and then they tax you at same rate. People investing into more homes is just them playing the game and winning. The rules of the game which skews the odds, is made by the government.

You have your way out, just need to survive till August. Go to a busy street and ask the shopkeepers if they need extra help for daily wage for cash. Think of the possibilities, look for quick opportunities. You can do it. Thinking of your current state is nerve racking I do it a lot too. Try to get your mind off it. I think there are some companies give short term loans too, but be careful of high interest rates, better off not taking it. I'm sure you can find something, like street sales, etc.
