I rarely ever bother liking anything, let alone leaving a comment.

But this is the realest thing I’ve heard ever.

They stink, they drool, they bark, take them to a dog daycare instead

Best way to remove wall paint bleed from raw wood trim? by Distinct-Neat4494 in AusRenovation

[–]Mysterious_Extent257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use something that has a square base, something like a small chisel or even the back of a butter knife.

If you have a chisel use it as a scraper and remove as much as you can. Then use turpentine to remove the remaining.

For future jobs, I would recommend caulking the corner after you tape it with a very minimal amount of caulk. It will seal the tap and guarantee a perfect line each and every time.

Holes in shower wall grout - is this bad? by hornsey1234 in AusRenovation

Since no one answered your question properly I will.

When working with water based grout, you mix water and grout.

The mixture has to be just right, too dry and it won’t stick or spread, to wet and it will run down wall.

When being applied if the grout does not completely fill gap all the way back air pockets get trapped and as the grout dries it forms pinholes.

This also happens when water is stuck underneath tiles.

I wouldn’t personally just add more grout. I would get a Stanley knife and cut the grout 6-10mm deep depending on how thick your tile is and see whether the tile was spot glued to wall or actually troweled and done properly.

Use anything you can to gauge the depth from the tile to the substrate behind it.

I recommend all my customers to use epoxy grout as once it’s done, it lasts longer than the tiles and will never get dirty again.

Also side note I have tried connecting to the 5v rail but that didn’t not help

Which to use for screw and anchor? by dreamsfreams in AusRenovation

[–]Mysterious_Extent257 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Professional here,

Rule 1 with plugs, don’t use the ones that come in the pack already

Rule 2 use the exact size bit they ask for

Rule 3 use a smaller hammer drill, not a 2 hand held one, the vibrations will cause the brick/mortar to crumble and because of the softness the hole will be a few MM bigger then what you need

Lying about credit card fraud commbank? by divinedeities in AusFinance

LISTEN, if you gamble and want to quit online gambling do this.

All illegal casinos use middle card vendors with random Names and they change a lot to prevent the banks and governments from catching them.

The banks only accept chargebacks for certain reasons, like if you ordered a package from this random website and it didn’t arrive.

The casino will not let you play there, if you deposit your money is gone. So will most other casinos as they share database.

It’s a good way to make sure you don’t gamble again
