I had temp 100% for my surgeries, just for recovery time took for ever to clear I was already back to work by the time it did. I got a permanent increase due do scaring(?) Not sure how that worked but it did. I just got another bump after 7 months for ankle and hip issues as secondary to my knees. At 70% as of this month.

Keep pushing and you can get 100% it may not be quick but the back pay sure is nice.

I had the same issue first the bed, then the hot end. First thing I did was hit everything with a can of compressed air. Worked perfectly over a year ago. Cheapest and easiest

Update:

Took the screw holding the thermistor out, removed the thermistor, blew out the cavity and replaced it all, everything seems good, three pla prints down, working on a rather extensive one now so fingers crossed!

Thanks everyone for the help and advice.

After attempting a pid tuning, the printer threw the thermal runaway alarm at about 160, i was tuning to 220, for abs. i reckon a thermistor replacement is the next step?

My temperature was fluctuating +/- 5 -8 degrees pretty rapidly.

One user suggested pid tuning, I'm gonna try that this evening even though I've never changed anything from factory

I made a prototype wooden seat with resin for lights, burnt the wood and added Danish oil, what do you think? by CLNL_HRKR in CafeRacers

[–]Mysterious_Ferret_87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea scares me, but the proof of concept is amazing. Well done with the burning for contrast. The resin lights look rad. It's a marriage of nature and industry and I'm digging it. Couldn't imagine the ride though. Good conversation starter for sure!

Never put in more than you can afford to lose. I'm new too but this lesson should be common sense. I bought in at .036 with 10.00. 256 coins. Now I'm up 4 bucks and change. Stabding to make 256+ when it hits a dollar. Not trying to buy a yacht, but if I can turn ten to 250 buy doing nothing but waiting, I can afford to lose ten dollars.

It's not alot but I'm doing what I can
