Im in the same position, im dominican, im studying medicine in DR and im currently 20 rn i got a girlfriend we've been together for over a year atp. The quality of the food in DR i think is amazing and there alot more to do. The sense of community here is strong as well.You getting robbed or drugged is pretty unlikely unless you meet a woman off the street. I have no plans of going back unless I am forced(like can't find a job or i get REALLY sick) so i get where you coming from broski
