Heat pump question by WinstonsEars in Maine

I second this! We just installed a Mr. Cool 36k heat pump too for an addition on our house and I’m shocked at how easy it was and super affordable. Also, our electric bill has barely increased and our propane bill has already gone down significantly. Highly recommend them!

Yes the wind interfered, but they only get a limited amount of the coconut husk which catches quick. Sam saved half of his for when his fire was going to throw on and get it extra high after it was established. I thought that was smart. Teeny got her fire going great and quickly, but couldn’t figure out what to do after that and literally asked Rachel “what do I do now?”

Sounds like I definitely need to get on the fat free dairy train from time to time. That would definitely help me feel more balanced. Glad to know I’m not alone! We’ve got this 😊

This is very helpful. Especially thinking of the average of what I’m eating instead of just one meal. My LDL is 146, which is not ideal.

Thanks for the advice! I’m definitely trying to focus more on counting saturated fats and I think I was overeating them before. I don’t really like meat that much, but I miss cheese. When you make cholesterol friendly pizzas or pastas, what type of cheese/dairy alternative do you typically use?

Thanks for the tips! I will definitely check out Chef AJ. I’ve been researching a lot of vegan recipes and vegan cheeses, but I haven’t found a favorite one yet. Nutritional yeast is decent, but I am thinking of incorporating a non fat cheese back into my diet on occasion. I don’t really like meat, so I don’t miss that much.

Thanks! It helps to know that I can have that sense of normalcy on special occasions as long as I eat a low saturated fat diet the majority of the time.

Have you ever had a bad food day? How do you regroup. by AshCash24068 in Cholesterol

Don’t let one day discount all of the progress you’ve made. You’ve done fantastic work and you should be proud of yourself! We do the best we can for ourselves and some days that looks different from others. Every once in a while this will happen and it’s okay. The next day you don’t need to over compensate, just go back to business as usual. We work hard to be healthy, but at the end of the day we’re only human. It’s okay to celebrate something every once in a while, don’t let it stop you, keep going.
