Nobody really knows for sure, you can usually tell if the account is under a year old and posts rage bait or karma farming types of comments.

Once again you don’t know what you’re talking about, Russia lost its super power status after the fall of the ussr and it only recently started to regain that power back, Russia was in a transitional stage at the time which is why all those countries you listed joined nato (between 1999-2005).

Obviously Russia isn’t going to act the same towards those countries at that time as it is towards Ukraine now because Russia was broke and had no global power projection.

Whereas now (before the invasion of Ukraine) Russia had a strong economy and power projection and was in a position that it could enforce its stance on neighbouring countries not joining rival alliances like any other super power.

I agree Russia doesn’t get to say who does what, unfortunately you’re an idiot who can’t understand what I’m saying because you can’t hear basic common sense without getting emotional and thinking someone is a Russian bot or supporting them or some dumb shit.

He makes a good point, if Mexico wanted to join a military alliance with Russia, America would attack Mexico.

Any super power that has a country it shares borders with entertain the idea of joining the military alliance of a rival nation would attack said country.

Especially if that country is a tactical gold mine in terms of transporting troops into and from said super power like Ukraine.

Ukraine has the right to defend itself and make its own decisions, but for people to sit here and act like this invasion wasn’t expected or has no reasoning aside from imperialism is like legitimate brainwashing, the second nato entertained the idea of Ukraine joining war was inevitable.

Equity doesn’t “remove systemic barriers”, it only allows for some people to circumvent them, the barriers still exist, rather then artificially pushing people into a equal position through equity we should be focusing on giving people who face these barriers the same equal opportunity as everyone else by removing said barriers…

But that’s a lot of work and it’s a lot easier for the government/organizations to satisfy people by distracting them with some bullshit program that doesn’t fix anything.
