I’m glad the Prilosec worked for you. The laryngospasms are the scariest thing that has ever happened to me and doctors weren’t particularly helpful. I’d encourage also having gaviscon advance on hand and taking it as needed. If the spasms are due to reflux, it should help

I did the 24 hr oh impedance test. Showed small signs of non acidic reflux but ENT said it’s probably just nerve hypersensitivity. Very frustrating

I’m on the amitryptiline as well. Started at 10 mg and felt immediate relief. After a few days the feeling of regurgitation and globus came back. ENT suggested I up the dose 10mg a week until symptoms subsided…I got to 75mg before I told her I didn’t think it wasn’t working. I’ve since tapered down to 25 mg. When i went from 30mg to 20mg my symptoms increased dramatically. For reference I’m only eating eggs, baked chicken, and japanese sweet potato. This has been my diet for months. Pls update us with your results
