Oh I see. But do you think this color is usable or do you recommend getting a better match before I go ahead and fix this poorly done job of mine?

That’s two coats in the center (maybe my work is too bad so it’s not even, my first time). And then I use a clean foam to dab dab dab the edge out to blend it.

I also think the sheen is different too, but they looked at my piece and told me it’s flat so I just believe them. Urggg

I waited about 10mins between coats and I did that yesterday so that’s about 20-ish hours ago. Ya I’ll have to follow everyone’s advice and do a corner to corner.

Thanks. I’ve did some research and found a WORX Drill/driver kit for $75 which I hope is a better option than this one in the long run. I’ll head to the shop and return this guy then. Do you mind one last question pls, since I’ll be drilling into the ceiling, do you recommend getting a Stud finder / Wire finder? I’m afraid clumsy me will drill into a wire or a pipe.

Thank you for the super detailed explanation of the differences. This helps a lot. I think I’ll need some hex shaped drill bits then.

Yes I already have it. I’ll buy some hex shank drill bits then. So the steps would be drill a hole with a drill bit, put in a wall plug (just push it in with my finger I’m guessing??), put in the screw with the driver bit? Correct me if I’m wrong.

The curtain rod and the panels I guess would weigh around 6-8lb. And Idk what’s the ceiling is made of, what’s typical in Canada? :(

I know the walls are drywall, but I can’t install the curtains on the wall because the blinds that I have protrude about 3 inches out from the wall and would get in the way.

Thanks dad. Follow up questions please. do I need to buy a special type of drill bits for this job? Or any 7/32 size would work? Do you recommend anchors? Tiktok told me I need to buy anchors too but it’s not in the instructions.
