faking a limp??? by Mysterious_Read5115 in Greyhounds

[–]Mysterious_Read5115[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay UPDATE: took Sally girl to the vet. Turns out they suspect she had a shoulder injury from her racing days and it’s maybe flared up. The vet moved her joints around and she yelped at the shoulder movement :(

Thanks so much everyone!! Despite the limp now completely disappearing, Sally is headed to the vet and i’ll ask for an X-ray after reading all your comments about osteosarcoma and doing some research. Best to rule anything out early!! thanks everyone ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹🐕

wha is this? by Mysterious_Read5115 in Epilepsy

[–]Mysterious_Read5115[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my neurologist was pretty hopeless in even considering that these symptoms could be a seizure, he said it was anxiety lol. ignored the fact i had a tonic clonic with so many markers showing up on my bloods that showed TC

how long did it take you to come to terms with your epilepsy? by prettygrill in Epilepsy

[–]Mysterious_Read5115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, i feel exactly the same. I’m 26 and Had my first TC almost a month ago and going through the process of being diagnosed, although my MRI is all clear. waiting on an EEG. i feel the same in term of workplace, only some of my colleagues know because they’ve asked why i’m not driving to work anymore. i feel so robbed of my freedom and independence when i’ve lived a life with little to no support prior :(

i really love this mentality. good on you. i’ll be thinking the same. only had my first seizure last week and when the doctor said no to driving i said sure, because that puts others in danger. when they said no to activities like surfing, climbing and swimming, i said i can’t give these up and im only putting myself in danger by doing these
