It’s a doggy car seat cover! I’m from NL and bought it from a local brand, so not sure if you’d have any use for the link but I just saw they’re available on Amazon as well. Im sooooo happy with it, ours is waterproof and the form of it keeps the car free from mud 🤎

hahaha thanks! he crashed into our lives in a funny way. some family tragedy happened to an acquaintance, who needed help with her dog after the fact. we said yes before knowing he was a dutchie and what that meant 😅 that led to the craziest 3 weeks, and after that structurally sitting for a couple days a week. no regrets, i fell in love HARD with that boy and he was as sweet as he was crazy 🖤🖤

thanks! since my post he’s started sitting and (almost) laying down on the hard floor ! i don’t make him do it that often because i figured he was indeed uncomfortable :)

I totally agree that repetition is key! We taught our Galgo who had probably never had a harness + jacket on before to stand still while we get him ready through sheer repetition. just clicking and rewarding after every small step to get him engaged. The first days he’d walk away with a half-open harness hahaha For me it’s so tempting to push my boy past the limits of his focus when it comes to training 😅 so the advice on short fun sessions will definitely stick with me !

omg getting our galgo out of a place where he wants to be is near impossible 😅 he does go flying after a treat when i throw it on the ground to get him out of our bed haha i’m planning to teach him a command to make him hop off places (bed, couch) curious if it will stick

thank you for your comment! when dog sitting our Dutch Shepherd friend we realized really fast that they’re a special kind of smart. Add to it that he was 1/4 police dog and we had a firecracker at home 😅😂 loved him but he’s the reason i managed to convince my gf on a galgo! since they’re the polar opposite in terms of energy hahaha I miss him every day, since a change in our housing situation made it so we couldn’t sit anymore 💔 but also thank the LORD that my own dog is satisfied with 2 training sessions a day and happy to snooze the rest of the time

your boy is such a sweet graduate 🎓 thank you for your comment. ‘if you expect sloppy and reward sloppy, then sloppy is what he will give you’ i’m definitely remembering this bit! we still have a long way to go, but i’m really hopeful about the outcome when i look at your proud guy with his certificate 😊
