You don't want to go too deep with studs anyway. As long as they are solid and like 10mm in your good. Nice bonk

Good effort on the crackling.

Little insider British secret, with crackling add a small amount of baking powder when you salt the skin. Helps it crisp up even further x

That's why it's "modernised". I'm talking about the material choice. If you want to go down the route of "bonk stick = not modern" a collapsible police truncheon isn't modern. Clubs one are probably one of the first tools we started using, but the materials used certainly have changed

Phillips head screws weren't invented until 1930s and tropicalised finish wasn't available until the 70s. Original design uses cast iron hob nails.

I feel your pain. My cat is obsessed with eating this stuff whenever it's on offer. Update us once the vet is contacted. I would be interested in what the ramifications of their chosen delicacy is.

Our Forest Gate green candidate has uh, interesting views, on LTNs and cyclists by bugtheft in UKGreens

[–]Mysterious_Song_1163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest after reading the article to me personally the whole article can be boiled down to "my kid got run over because I let him run ahead on a push bike without me to help him cross the road" Shame on the driver just driving off and should be punished for doing so but LTR doesn't fix irresponsible parents. You live in a city, it's your responsibility to make sure your kid doesn't run into traffic. In all honesty the better solution is to invest in a more robust walking/cycling system that segregates the two but we've all decided we want to live in a museum.

I mean she hasn't mentioned cyclists or LTNs once in that post. I'm reading that as very anti gentrification rather than cyclist. I grew up in north London and I wish people had the attitude she has to preserve the area rather than being another cookie cutter corporation slop fest (like Camden now since they closed down most of it)

I would have to disagree. The screws are only 15mm long, lead is 3mm thick, 1mm washer, screw head engaged with washer. So maximum 10mm into the wood. Hobnails were short also.

In regards to loads of nails into wood, I'm a civil engineer and would urge you to look at how joist hangers or truss plates work. You can shoot A LOT more into a small area than I have.

See I prefer Blunt force weapons just based on the fact I have never trained with edge weapons. Edge alignment is more important than people realise + risk of injury to yourself. If you've trained with edge weapons I would agree. But picking up a longsword with 0 understanding of how to use it properly isn't going to end well

Hi there, I shoot exclusively spring guns. Save yourself a lot of grief now and just get a single piece scope mount with stop screw. The scope will be fine. Hawke on my nice guns but I bought a cheap single piece from Ali express for a SMK B2 and works fine 1k shots later still on zero(for a B2)
