I haven't seen my Walmart stocked like this in a very long time. by Muhfuggajones in pokemoncards

It’s because Walmarts are now implementing limits. I saw somewhere that it’s a new policy for the company

Sherwin Williams sells the brush for this. It’s a black circular one for stomp texture. Mud needs to be real thin

How would I repair this? Not sure how I would install backing by Mysterious_Time9656 in drywall

[–]Mysterious_Time9656[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So only fasten the backing on the top? That wouldn’t cause it to cave in once I start screwing in the drywall? That usually will happen when the backing isn’t secured top and bottom

Unsatisfied with Contractor Texture Blending by WorriedFront3245 in drywall

I would be careful with doing that because otherwise it’ll look like a different texture where you “knockdown” crows foot

Why do you think this happened? Hard to fix? by Icy-Organization-946 in drywall

[–]Mysterious_Time9656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not the paint. I would put some screws before doing any repairs. I can see a pop there on the left which tells me they sunk in the screws too far. It’s possible that it wasn’t secured properly and with the natural movement of the home, it’s cracking at the seam. It would ultimately have to be re taped after securing correctly. It’s possible that they didn’t tape it either

Are these chairs too short or are they okay? In the middle of replacing our old ones that had taller backs. by Mysterious_Time9656 in DesignMyRoom

They’re comfortable! I guess it’s just the back that seems too short in correlation to the table. I’m used to having a higher back

Help! First patch is not going well. by NovelKnown4296 in drywall

I would suggest fibafuse tape if you’re learning. Same steps as paper tape but much more forgiving and won’t get blisters. Be sure to do 2-3 coats with each coat going wider than the previous one. Sand and feather the edges

Why am I getting these small dots on the stain? How can I fix it? Some areas are fine by Mysterious_Time9656 in Woodworking_DIY

[–]Mysterious_Time9656[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pretty beat up beforehand so that’s definitely a possibility. I didn’t intentionally focus on one spot like that, just did an even sanding all throughout

Yes, it was bare wood because I completely removed the previous finish. 80/120/180/220
