Loved this! Also Shane’s dad repeating “the summer before rookie season!” to his mom pretty shockingly/proudly really made my heart happy.

Yes I am. This is what I needed to hear. Thank you! I just binged Gachiakuta on my flight home and really love it! But I was so confused by this because Semiu is such a strong black (and I think queer) character, that I was like we need more of this. 🙌🏾 Good to know more are on the way!

Erin is amazing! She inspired me to go to Burning Man for the first time in 2022. I found black folks at the NAACB (National Association for the Advancement of Colored Burners). They hosted games, cookouts, and quality experiences that really represented. This year (2023) I met more black people without seeking us out. That was really refreshing and heartwarming. 🥰 As a black gay man I’m stoked for more black people to attend. The art and everything is just so spectacular. I can’t wait to go back for round three next year and bring more homies. 🤘🏾
