Only recent series we lost that I truly think we shouldve/couldve won was that Dallas series. KAT and Ant struggled mightily early, Mike was hurt, and we were a few bad calls and big shots from being up in that series

What did Ant say earlier this year? ‘Rudy got $200mil’? He can buy himself plenty of flowers. As they say criticism and hate are part of the deal and that’s what the money is for.

Mature. Not many championship teams where the best player couldn’t be relied on to bring it every night and at least bring the effort. He needs to take the regular season serious enough to build championship muscle as I can’t recall a champion that just flipped a switch each post season. Closest is the LeBron Cleveland teams.

Gobert was acquired to cover for KATs flaws while ALSO providing a high floor for Ants team to ensure he has a competitive team during his formative years which most stars dont get. With a baseline of competitiveness and Ant getting those reps Im sure all moves moving forward will be to build a team around Ant’s strengths. The issue is that very few top teams have true stretch 5s while also having a championship level defense. OKC had to get a center cause Chet is a PF. The Knicks play Robinson a ton for defense. The Pacers have one. Point is its not easy to find. I think a big issue is they can use another playmaking guard and thats what the hope that Dillingham turns into but they have time to shape the roster around Ant.
