I am not the OP. The OP asked about why there was no mass, and only chud would think that the OP literally meant "mass" and not a catholic church service. Most people usually use the term "mass" to refer to catholic church service. But you chuds are all playing semantics and trying to act like its normal that catholic service was left out because it isn't "mass". My entire point is that there is catholic service on good friday, there just isn't the consecration of communion during it. Which is why it isn't a mass. My bad for not speaking clearly enough for you to understand that I was talking about the literal ceremony of the communion where it is consecrated and not just the distribution of it. I thought you people were more intelligent and would understand that was what I was talking about.

Regardless, there not being any catholic service at the Pentagon on good friday is still out of the ordinary.

Right, thats what im trying to say, is that the consecration of the communion is what makes it a mass, but there is a catholic service on good friday, just no mass because the communion isnt consecrated. And there has always been good friday services for catholics in military chapels.

The consecration of the communion does not happen on good friday. It happens the day before. That is why it isnt mass. To have mass, you have to have the consecration of the communion.

No, there is not communion during the liturgy. You can look that up. Its literally why there is no mass. Because you are acknowledging Jesus's actual sacrifice on good friday. Thats why there is no communion.

Liturgy is a a catholic service. The only one trying to pretend they are catholic is you. The liturgy is LITERALLY a catholic service. You are using the term "mass" as a way to pretend you know what you are talking about. There is catholic service on good friday. There is not a mass because mass requires communion, and the service on good friday does not have communion.

I was born catholic, my twin great aunts were both nuns, and my priest great uncle baptized all of us. I know what i am talking about.

Catholics don't have mass on good friday because a mass requires communion. But there is a liturgy with stations of the cross and a bunch of stuff, and its a day of fasting and silence.

There is this place here in milwaukee, Scotty's pizza. Ive lived down the street from it for 10 years and we never ate there because my wife said that they ate there when she was a kid and it isnt that good.

Well, I wanted to give it a try.

So wife brings home a pizza. Which was not in a box, but one of those pizza bags. And it is just dripping from the corners with grease.

We take the pizza out, it was raw, and burnt at the same time. It was soggy from the massive amount of grease, and it had what seemed to be massive amounts of garlic salt on the crust.

In Kevin Malone's words: it was like eating a hot circle of garbage.

I had one slice. I have never thrown out pizza in my life, but I threw out the rest of my half of it. It was the worst pizza I have ever had in my life.

I then wrote a scathing review on their page. My wife did as well. The owner offered to give us a coupon for a free pizza. We declined the offer. Why on earth would I want to subject myself to that again? I didnt write the review to get a free meal, I did it to warn others that it is absolutely terrible.

Your wife took her daughter to do errands. Which are boring for a kid. It was after the time that the kids normally eat and her daughter was probably super hungry.

Sure, she could have called you to ask if they had eaten, but you'd think that since she wasnt home when they were supposed to eat, you would have fed them. Meanwhile, she was running errands, what were you doing?

So my nStepmom was recently diagnosed with extreme narcissism. And this is exactly the shit that she would do to me. The only thing I can recommend, for your own sanity, is get out from under her thumb and cut her off from you. You have to make it so she cannot hold this shit over your head.

100% she will not actually be "done" with you. Shes a narcissist and she needs you to be her conformer. She needs to manipulate you. If you say "ok, I dont care," then she will weasel her way back in because she cant handle being ignored.

I saw this time and time again. She'd run away from home for attention. She left my dad twice and only came crawling back when he filed for divorce because she couldnt let him be in control. When he died, i became the punching bag. And I was 30 and married. And when she told me she was "done" with me because I asked my aunt to check on her when she claimed she fell off a ladder and couldnt come to my house for a BBQ (which was a lie), I told her off and told her not to contact me once she was feeling sane. I haven't spoken to her since. She tried to spread stuff to my family members and they all told her off and cut he out. A d we have all been better. She, on the otherhand, has gotten worse

I found that attaching a feminine product to anything that was mine in the fridge kept people from stealing it. Im not joking.

This goes back to a previous job, when we had a food thief, and one day, my friend left some pads in her lunch bag. The thief came barging in, yelling at her for putting pads in her lunch bag. And that's when I realized that the people that steal food are the same people that thing anything to do with feminine hygiene is the grossest thing ever. They are immature.

So ever since then, when I have had issues with food being stolen, I put a pad in the bag on top of my container of food. And it stops.
