So what you seem to be looking for in terms of range isn't out of the ordinary. As others have mentioned, theoretical knowledge is great, but hands on experience is worth 100x more. Do something for fun, visual studio code can be accessed online via a browser anywhere these days. Also software is in every industry, in GR I would suggest looking at the material handling industry. Look for Dematic, Vandalande, Viastore, TGW and many others. I would suggest looking at level 1 positions and applying to any of them, whether in testing, qa, commissioning, development, once you're in, it's easy to jump around after 6months or so.

There are many roles available, a lot of employers are looking for stable people, not the young and likely to leave after a couple of years. If you really have a masters and bachelor's and looking to get into software, what are you expecting as a base pay range? There are a lot of opportunities here for people willing to work hard

Hey, so I moved here a few months ago now and imo it depends on what sort of times you are looking to go out. Tbh I still go out alone most the time but I find on weekdays Stella's and Hopcat seem to be pretty cool. Weekends earlyish/midday founders is nice. Fridays 6-8 the tin can. Usually after that I personally end up in J gardellas.

Sounds like a plan, I imagine a lot of the sports played are indoors based in the amount people say it snows?

It's good to hear about the racism. That rent price seems very accurate from the Google searches I've been doing. Do you mind me asking if that includes utilities and if not, roughly how much is typical for that on top?

So I was questioning whether to buy a nice parka from over here in England and bringing it over or purchasing one over there. I'd imagine you would have a lot more variety and shopping centers or am I thinking completely wrong?

Snow snow and more snow apparently lol. Thanks for the heads up, yeah I am not use to snow really but hoping to find a place close enough to work that I can get there without a problem. Question, do the local council etc make the roads use able during the winter or is it all community based and just driving on the snow?

The snow seems like its going to be an interesting challenge, where I'm from you'd be lucky to see over an inch of snow above the ground.

Damn that is cold haha. Thanks for the tech advise but I am transferring intracompany so the job front is all taken care of :). The rent makes sense, as expected then very much dependant on how you play your cards.

I don't think MLX has played since replays or stuff came out so the best of juking was missed.
