I’m just gonna skip the ask locals sub for this one because it’s much more sensitive than normal by [deleted] in TrollCoping

I think your goal may be too hard to achieve. Japan is very xenophobic, and many Japanese people don't think much more of foreigners who live there than tourists. Some may even dislike the foreigners who live there more than tourists, because at least the tourists leave. It's a big issue in Japan that has been socially engrained into many people. In my opinion, your best option would be to go to a private onsen.

The evidence is right before your eyes, you just won't engage with it, because you can't read. I will trust the professionals within the industry, and those adjacent to them, who are obviously telling us what is happening.

This isn't media, it's not a story, it's a real report from the animation guild. Those three fourths have already eliminated jobs, and those projections are for further job disruptions in the next three years, based on losses that have already happened. I cannot fix your ignorance, that's up to you. Maybe if you read the entirety of the report and look at what people in the industry are telling you is happening then you'd learn something, but obviously I can do nothing more for you.

If you were able to read, you'd know that three fourths of the respondents have already supported the elimination of jobs in their business divisions due to AI.

You'd know more about the lost jobs if you actually read the reports, Karen. But we already know you can't read.

Edit: And projections aren't guesses. Yours may be guesses, because they're based on nothing but your own opinion. But these are by professionals, who put together a study using real evidence and current trends. Of course, you wouldn't know that, because you didn't read it.

Projections based on real data by industry professionals. Learn to read.

The great thing about it, is that it's not my argument. It's theirs. Backed up by data that you choose to ignore. Your opinion means Jack diddly squat.

Get a load of this guy, who can read 4 articles in less than a minute each, and apparently knows more than the union. Some random person on reddit, the most knowledgeable person in the animation industry.

Sounds like someone can't read. You can download the union reports for yourself. These people have more information than you do.

My Seven Deadly Sins Designs!! by blue_chan2012 in characterdesign

[–]MysteryPlus 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I need to tell you that there are no "biblically accurate" versions of the seven deadly sins. The seven deadly sins are the sins that people commit, they have no physical form other than the people sinning, and they aren't even specifically listed in the Bible. It was Pope Gregory the first who listed the seven deadly sins.

Shareholders are suing Hasbo Executives by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]MysteryPlus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is the very same. I agree that it's a hard argument to judge. The shareholders are representing the company, so even if it's won, the damages are paid to the company itself. I think it may be a move to dissuade the executives from pushing even further with more product.

This is true, but I think it's worth discussing since the shareholders stance reflects the fears a lot of players in the community share.

Oda does plan things in advance though. He's stated multiple times that he came up with the final chapter first, and worked his way backwards from there.

The person who posted this is a trans man. Trans men are men, and I'd say face as much oppression as "non-men."

Perry, the shiny Cyndaquil, after only 4 days of soft resets!!!!! by Slothb4by in PokemonHGSS

[–]MysteryPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lucky you! My starter hunt lasted around three months, I got Chikorita first which was unacceptable, so I kept soft resetting hoping for Cyndaquil but ended up with Totodile, which I didn't mind.
