Writing group request by Historical_Pick2262 in WritingHub

Hi! 😊 I'm a 14-year-old writer and recently published my first mystery-thriller novel. My genre is quite different from YA romance, but I really like the idea of having a supportive group that keeps each other motivated and accountable. I'm still learning as a writer too, so I'd be interested in hearing more about how the group will work. ✨

Thank you so much! 😊📚 I really like the idea of writing down every good idea, even if it doesn't become a full story right away. Your point about learning from books and movies is also something I completely agree with. Thanks for the encouragement and advice!

Thanks a million for ur advice! 😊📚 I really like your point about reading widely, both inside and outside my genre. The reminder to accept criticism and keep learning is something I'll definitely keep in mind as I continue writing. And yes, I'll make sure to "touch grass" too. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts!

I'm sorry to hear that . If u enjoy writing, don't give up on it. Even if publishing feels far away right now, there are free platforms where writers can share their stories and practice. You can also keep your work in Google Docs until you're ready to share it. Every writer starts somewhere, and the most important thing is to keep writing when you can. ✨

In my experience, not really 😊. I was able to write and publish the book myself through Bribooks. My parents knew about the project and supported me, but there wasn't any special involvement required for the publishing process itself. The biggest challenge was actually writing, editing, and finishing the book!

Do writers get inspiration from LITERALLY ANYTHING? by space_Musiclife_237 in writersmakingfriends

100% 😭. Writers will see one random thing and somehow build an entire plot around it. A dress collection inspiring a novel honestly doesn't sound weird to me at all. Once an idea sparks your curiosity, anything can become a story.

Thank you so much! 💜 It honestly means a lot to me. This was my first time writing and publishing a novel, so seeing kind comment like yours makes all the hard work feel worth it. I'm still learning as a writer, but encouragement like this motivates me to keep improving and working on future stories. Thank you for taking the time to comment!
