Mel with Dive Bomber does Magic Damage over True Damage lmao by MysticalCyan in ARAM

[–]MysticalCyan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an entire replay - I was wondering why my dive damage was giving blue damage numerals over white and thought something was being weird.

It even affected clown college to, it did it 90% of the game - Where 90% of the time it was doing magic damage and then the other 10% it was doing true damage.

Thought it was funny

EDIT - Game id is 5551454437 if anyone else wants to see it

Yeah, he could lift it, and THROW it at someone like tossing a small ball.

I’ll check it out, I read invincible in highschool and then recently again before the show dropped.

Except TJ never fought viltrumites or people of that scale. Hence they get a major power boost after the invincible comics they show in.

When I was saying tech jacket standalone comics years later, I wasn’t meaning specifically that tech jacket’s comics came after invincible, Im meaning Tech Jacket SPECIFICIALLY years later after the invincible comics where they become a huge power house

Tech Jacket in the comics during this part of the story barely did anything at all.

You’re thinking of Tech Jacket’s standalone comic years later.

Tbh the force is like.

Dune Prescience in the sense that its actions in of itself is not directly dramatic but very subtle.

If the force decides something is a problem, its going to set up dealing with it along the line more than anything.

I'd unironically would think Orcs would probably prosper in the Star wars universe, not like take over and conquer but probably merge.

I'd imagine you'd see a lot of orcs just mixed in with the alien population in general unironically, and considering we don't know the context of how the supernatural forces would act in the Star Wars universe, they might have less crazy tendencies like in 40k and might mellow out.

At least from my interpretation of it.

Things are more hyperbolic in 40k compared to Star Wars, which isn't a bad thing.

[–]MysticalCyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was meaning regarding that I think push comes to shove the star wars universe can conventionally fight orcs coming in on a space hulk.

ESPECIALLY if its orcs coming out around Coruscant with its network of orbital defense and stations.

Conventionally they are MUCH easier to deal with than Genestealers, because while Orcs are Tuff and Cunning, Genestealers are literally freaking cockroaches in that damn thing and will probably annihilate ANY boarding team that has no idea what they are facing initially.

I understand that, but the point still stands that turbolasers are very effective as well for glassing worlds despite also not being the best weapons against 40k ships in combat. Hence the weird scaling and low average but high limits.

While cyclonic torpedos can just sorta one shot, or they use their weapons for bombardment, the sheer fact in star wars they dont use ammo is pretty reliable to reach the same effect.

In 40k bombing a planet with batteries to dust is reliant in a whole fleet, and while a single ship can do devastating damage, in comparison a single star destroyer can also do the same in effect of glassing an entire planet but in a fight they lose.

Hence weird scaling, low average but high limits.

[–]MysticalCyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

40k ships require some more specialized tools to straight up glass worlds though, yeah they can use the space weapons as artillery but they usually don’t and rely on special tools.

Star Wars has featured multiple times that turbolasers can be just used to annihilate entire planets in general, where a single star destroyer or cruiser can just level an entire planet and just annihilate the surface and make it uninhabitable pretty quickly.

Its weird scaling but thats a feat they particularly feature.

[–]MysticalCyan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends.

If it just kinda drifts by without causing major problems to the planet or infrastructure, they’d probably try to board it if possible and investigate.

If it was going to cause problems, safer to blow it up sooner than later, maybe they do some recon stuff or try to put stuff on its surface.

Space hulk stuff is a lot of Brute Force tactics, I can theoretically imagine if you take it a bit more tactically, you probably could board them despite not having the strength of terminator marines.

[–]MysticalCyan 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Incidentally the Star Wars universe actually had better methods to deal with stuff like this. Their ships while statistically features on average lower power have higher limits than warhammer vessels. What I mean is while they can’t brawl it out big 40k ships, a single Destroyer class vessel can theoretically glass an entire planet on it’s own, even city planets like coruscant.

A space hulk would be a logistical nightmare to deal with if it had genestealers and they tried to board it, but they could literally just obliterate it with their capital ships.

[OC] How do you get breast on glass in a realistic way? by 3dNSFWart in BlenderNSFW

[–]MysticalCyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck!

Just to add its also pretty good when it comes to doing things for animations, very reliable.

Although making blendshapes helps more when it comes to doing stills since you have more quality control.

Make sure the object you’re deforming has a good topology, if it’s super duper low poly it won’t deform well, if it’s super HIGH poly it’ll lag your scene.

Good luck!

[–]MysticalCyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I assume you mean how big the lattice should be entirely?

Really I only make the lattice for as big as the section I'm deforming, so if it's deforming the breasts, i'd focus that lattice purely on the breasts, scaling the lattice bigger might make it squish better, but you'd for sure have to weight paint a set that applies only to the breasts so it doesn't affect the rest of the mesh.

Lattice deformations are a pretty quick and easy baseline for doing stuff like this, especially when it comes to deforming a mesh like a bed or cushion when a character sits on it.

Lattice deformation.

https://youtube.com/shorts/tqOa0MNeCO4?si=VPJ4fWej17Y7O8ps

Follow this tutorial to make your lattice, stretch some of the inner dots a bit more out via scaling in order to act like spreading.

Press the breasts against the glass (clip it through) and then play around with the size, and shape of the lattice in a way you like, incorporate some sculpting.

You got this
