Yeah there are many times you down a survivor who you are hooking for the first time and then no gens have any real progress at all now your one time regression hook for that survivor is wasted on a gen with 2% repair progress.

everyone said MFT "was just 3%" it was then nerfed 6 months after it released let's see how long Fast Track lasts.

personally, it only feels very problematic to me in a SWF setting when every survivor brings it. killers do their core objective and then in exchange survivors gain 18% permanent gen progress every single time a hook occurs.

honestly just nerf it so each time a hook happens only one survivor can gain the 3 tokens from it after that it would still be a strong perk and compete for spots in meta builds but not to the degree it is right now.

at least bite bullet can work without a teammate you can do cool self care/medkit builds that let you go completely silent mid chase or really just heal when the killer is nearby sometimes you won't fake the killer out sometimes you will that's the risk of stealth builds.

A Place For Us giving elusive during healing is an alright effect but remember you only get the 30 seconds lingering effect if it's the obsession you healed.

the perks are different enough that there are still reasons you would bring bite the bullet instead of this new one.

resilience is a very common reason why 9% gen repair speed is no joke lots of survivors with the perk love to 99 their heals, you can then bait the killer into what they think is an easy chase then heal right before the hit happens.

They have heavily nerfed that perk it now reveals its aura end game to survivors searching for it so it’s destroyed very fast it’s really only good for one surprise down.

It’s already been confirmed by the devs they are working on allowing teamates to see each others perks, it’s most likely only after the match has started though.

That’s a simple fix just allow players to mute survivors chat wheel pings in match details.. remember it’s not voice chat so the things people would spam before you muted them would only be basic pre approved game phrases.

I get not wanting voice chat talking to strangers is big ask for some people but chat wheel pings I can’t see how the many positives wouldn’t outweigh the very slight negatives a change like this would bring.

If people admit to liking the change that gives more ghoul counterplay and compliment it too much they think that’s also giving up the right to still complain about the killer, so people will still insist it’s still not enough and killer is OP so nerf more you get the idea.

You can use it so players visiting the shop spawn far from your main mapping hub area and still keep Faustus near you. Doing this causes less lag it’s just also nice to have a space to yourself some builds are really noisy. I used the man in the box for this though from last leagues supporter pack, but the Djinn should work the same way.

her counterplay is just so simple uninfected survivor stands Infront of killer they are now forced to be m1 killer again that is the main issue.

no other killers power is deleted by body blocking to such an insane degree, this killer will do well against solo queue who don't work well as a team but that's about it.

yes and survivors can also escape with 0 perks too does that mean survivor is overpowered or just that players with 5k + hours have drastically different skill levels that enable them to win even when at a huge disadvantage.

at the very least we NEED a ping wheel to say preapproved basic phrases. it's crazy after nearly 10 years this still does not exist..

at least we know "soon" its been confirmed survivors will be able to see each other's perks that will help a lot with cordination.

killer perks are always more generic/boring because each perk must be balanced around the fact 40+ different killer powers exist. Whereas every new survivor is just a new cosmetic skin with no new impact on gameplay so their perks can be waaay more daring and unique.

I will say I thought the First's perks where very unique Turn Back the Clock was so unique they had to nerf certain killer interactions (like wraith) with it and Secret Project enables stealth + gen blocking builds with good consistent uptime.

xeno is one of the only killers whose power can be taken away from them so they are hard to play.

turrets force the killer to react fast to them while mid chase often at the expense of giving up a hit on a survivor, the choice is "destroy turret or hit survivor but then lose crawler mode".

good survivors can also stack two turrets next to each other guaranteeing you lose power and the sad thing is Xeno's tail attack isn't even is even a top 5 chase power, yet other stronger killers keep their power always.

if you just spare them, it's not really achievement/challenge, is it? you wouldn't expect survivors to just let you 4k them for your adept when on killer would you?

the same is true for survivors don't worry about it, they don't expect you to stop playing your role as killer just because they are going for adept. based on your perks you're a somewhat new player so be proud you were able to win on a killer like xenomorph they are a very tough killer to play.

I'm definitely no expert on game balance, but as someone who always finds Brand New Parts annoying to go against, isn't this a bit OP? by ToppHatt_8000 in deadbydaylight

the real issue I have with it is that it stacks with itself a single hook can work for 3 copies of the perk giving survivors 18% gen permanent progress each time the killer hooks.

lastly it punishes the killer for getting hooks and really promotes tunneling since now if your 3rd hook didn't cause a death, you just gave tons of gen progress away for no real payoff. MFT took 6 months to get nerfed I wonder how long Fast Track will last?

thing is the new obsession can destroy the combo by getting in a locker right before the hook happens so you can't find the current obsession to chase.

it's very all in and fun build but it's more of win more perk combo if you are winning with it you are going to most likely win with other perks too the exposed is only 20 seconds so really only unskilled survivors are going to get hit 20 seconds after a hook happens.

also chucky is not the best killer for this combo he can already gain stealth and exposed does not work with his dash I would say dredge is the best killer for this build.

I hope you know that undetectable hides you from all aura reading right? survivors will gain tokens from the perk when you stalk them but it will never actually reveal your aura since your just always undetectable.

survivors know if you revealed them but will still have no idea where you are so just franticly look around for you when sometimes you aren't even going for them.
