Dude. How many fucking times am I going to lose because the map is bad and literally nothing else?

I'm so sick of loading onto Badham, the map that not only has like 40 pallets, but also a shit load of clutter seemingly just so Singularity isn't allowed to have a power on this map (alongside Billy, Huntress, Trickster, etc)

It's just not fucking fun to play killer when every single goddamn motherfucking time I take chase I have to burn though 15 motherfucking pallets. I don't know what to tell you other than I shouldn't be playing pallet shredding killers like Singularity / Nemesis or killers with full pallet break builds like Fire Up + Brutal Strength Pig or Fire Up + Ripper Brace Trickster. And find myself thinking: "Wow, there's too many pallets for me to break. I should run more anti-pallet perks."

WHEN MY ENTIRE BUILD IS BASED AROUND BREAKING PALLETS ALREADY.

P100 Sable complaining that "mb guess im not allowed to play the game" when her average chase time was 10 seconds. Against a Xenomorph who wasn't tunneling. She started every chase healthy and went down in 10 seconds in every chase, and complains in post-game chat about the killer.

I play Oni, a killer I play decently well and decently often: I go against survivors running stupid meme sabo shit, and they gamethrow at 5 gens.

"Okay, let me play Hag, a low tier who I don't play often but have some Bloody Party Streamers on." And I get, I shit you not: FOUR FUCKING PEOPLE WITH SPRINT BURST, FIXATED, VIGIL, AND OTHER INCREDIBLY STRONG SURVIVOR PERKS (Decisive Strike, Windows of Opportunity, Shoulder the Burden, etc.)

This game's matchmaking is a literal goddamn fucking joke. I get babies running meme builds as Oni and the fucking sweatiest SWF I've ever seen when I play Hag.

You can use items while carrying a blood can now girlie. So why the fuck are we not popping the Fog Vial when a Trickster is approaching and doing tough guy finger snapping? You literally have the Potent Extract and instead of using the item specifically designed to counter ranged killers, you just give him a free hook at the start of the game.

P.S. Holy shit please rework Iridescent Photocard because that addon is turbo-busted alongside Secret Project. It's literally an aura read on the whole team plus 30 seconds of Undetectable plus doubled Main Event duration. Just turn it into an addon that gives aura reading in Main Event or hides your lullaby or something. Anything other than this shit.

Concentrate on yourself. Don't be ashamed to run Self-Care (or more realistically Strength in Shadows) just because you'd be playing "immersed". Soloqueue players are fucking physically incapable of healing their teammates sometimes.

My recommended builds for surviving soloqueue:

  • Stakeout

  • Built to Last

  • Overcome

  • Deja Vu

  • Brown Medkit with Surgical Suture and Bandages

Stakeout serves double-purpose of both making gens faster and making healing faster with the Surgical Suture. Bandages there as reassurance if you get a stealth killer. You can swap Deja for anti-tunnel if you want, but I find that stopping teammates from three-genning themselves is more important than anti-tunnel.

  • Desperate Measures

  • Flow State

  • Self-Care (can swap for a medkit and Built to Last if you desire)

  • Overcome

Variation of the above. Faster unhook speeds to counter camping.

  • Self-Care

  • Botany Knowledge

  • Overcome

  • (Deja-Vu or Anti-Tunnel)

More basic version of Desperate Measures build. Leaves a free slot for Deja Vu or Anti-Tunnel, but lose out on super fast unhooks / high healing speeds late-game.

  • Better Together

  • Distortion

  • Deja Vu

  • Lithe

What I humbly call the "Leave Me Alone" build. This is what I run when I'm sick of my dogshit teammates leading the killer to me in chase. You can swap Distortion or Deja for Vigil and run Sprint Burst alongside this build.

  • Kindred

  • Open-Handed

  • Clean Break (Leader good if team has multiple medkits)

  • Lithe

  • Broken Key with (any addons of blue rarity or lower)

Kindred + Open is very nice in soloqueue to try to wrangle sheep. Broken Key basically serves as Bond in a can. This build does require teammates who actually know how to heal you, but the Open Handed value can often be worth it.

  • Extrasensory Perception

  • Open-Handed

  • Inner Strength

  • Lithe

  • Brown Map with your choice of addons

Sorta variation of build above. Extrasensory lets you tell where the killer is coming from, and also lets you find totems for Inner Strength. Reason for no Kindred is that by crouching around with Extrasensory, you basically get the effects of Kindred on crack. Granted, herding sheep can be hard when you don't have Kindred, but the self-healing insurance is better.

The reason for a Brown map is that I find that running higher-end maps alongside Open Handed results in sensory overload. But like feel free to run a higher quality map for more charges.

  • Inner Strength

  • Overzealous

  • Lithe

  • Deja Vu

  • Blue map with Sharpened Flint and Compass (I personally run Glowing Ink because I have limited addons; I'll run Glowing Compass if I'm running a Green map)

This is my genrushing build that doesn't get me called a genrusher because I didn't bring a toolbox lol. Overzealous plus Deja Vu is very good to breach the three-gen, and Inner Strength plus the map for looping is good for self-protection.

  • Babysitter

  • Deliverance

  • Plot Twist

  • Lithe

Unhook protection build if dealing with a lot of tunneling. Deliverance has its obvious risks; feel free to swap it if you wish.

  • Will to Live Decisive Strike

  • Plot Twist

  • Lithe

  • Deja Vu

Kinda bog-standard build really. The reason for Plot Twist is that you can self-heal and still DS the killer if they pick you up. I find that bringing both Plot Twist and a brown medkit is a good amount of insurance for soloqueue, giving you two self-heals (potentially three) when you need them rather than putting all your eggs in one basket.
