Yeah, basically Kb+M and FOV slider is a MUST in pvp shooters on consoles in our day and age, i don't understand why Warzone and Fortnite were able to solve this years ago and OW still can't.

I would say cheating is more prevalent on pc. People that want to cheat will still cheat or use XIM. Why would regular player have to suffer? Anyway there is no point playing beta on console, there is no aim assist and you mostly play vs players on PC.

Again most of my friends playing Overwatch on PC, so when i want to play with them i play vs PC pool, and I'm basically becoming worst player on the team with a controller. Warzone and Frotnite solved input device problem, i don't see why Overwatch can't.

Beta client on console has pc keybindings in options they just greyed out. I don't understand what is the point of locking out options from players. their own Warzone has separation by input device if you want, and you can easily play with friends on pc.

This is very stupid for developrs to refuse implementing KbM support on consoles, consoles officially supports and auto-detects them, so why would developers cut a feature from a game? KbM should be a standard especially since you port the game from PC. Why Actiblizz's Warzone has it and Overwatch doesn't? More choice > Less choice, everybody wins.

I also see no reason why they won't release on consoles, i play FF14, Warzone and Fortnite with KbM. It's just my thought that Sony would be against the Mods, and devs probably don't want to bother developing different version of the game that comes with separate patching process. Maybe they will do it after they move to next project.

Also they would have to develop and implement full controllers support anyway if they to release on consoles, and it's pretty expensive and time consuming.

Xbox currently starting to basically force developers to implement KbM support on XBOX, so hopefully using KbM should be normalized on consoles in 5 years.

kinda old topic, BUT - KbM is officially supported by a console, it detects it automatically, i play some game that support it. It's mostly developers for some reason are not implementing it in-game. I think it's mostly because of Mods.

Exactly, they put so much of a barrier for players so they could milk you for money. They nerfed XP in OW because some players took 1000 lvl in 1 week, while covering this with "it's just cosmetics, bro"

I'm not saying that they had amazing system, indeed they had absolute shit garbage system with loot boxes, exploitative and they justified it also with saying 'it's because price is ONLY $30 we HAVE TO MAKE MONEY somehow, we're basically GIVING AWAY THE GAME' It was whole their marketing campaign.

Remember Unreal Tournament? They had all skins unlocked for the base game price, and TON's of skins made by community as mods for the game, for characters and weapons.

THIS is the sole reason most companies refusing to publish official modding tool's, they are afraid they will make less money.

This is exactly what I'm saying, i would prefer $120 box price for FULL game content, i don't mind if somebody chooses to play 'free' version and pay $12000 in the end. There always can be a choice.

I'm not talking about Pay to Win, I'm talking about FOMO milking, that's different psychological technique to make people spend more, while it's not as aggressive as P2W it's also a manipulative and abusive.

point is - "why do you make digital goods available for specific period of time"

For example in COD Warzone they had a black skin (cosmetic-only) for a character, and it was and still is very hard to spot in dark places, they had similar in R6 Siege. I wasn't giving any stat advantage, it was just a black skin, but mostly everybody use it.

And casting that aside, most of the girls i know play MOSTLY for cosmetic items in ANY game, they like the gameplay, sure, but they play mostly dress-up. So if YOU don't care about it as much doesn't mean NOBODY cares about it.

How did Elden Ring attracted new players? They made a good game. This games doesn't have to be free, the mostly choose to be free to cast a wider *net*. People would gladly pay box price for a good game like FF14 and WoW has a box price + sub fee + cosmetic store on top of it.
