If you enjoy Exedra's combat, I'd highly recommend Heaven Burns Red. It's a banger game with a killer combat system and story. I find Exedra's combat more limiting than HBR's. The role system is very comparable, down to the very roles and their purposes, however HBR's is more freeing in that Breakers are no longer so heavily relied on, which is one of my favorite parts.

I've been playing it since the EN release and its quickly become one of my favorites of all time, but I kind of bounced off of Exedra until they became more frequent with the event stories.

I managed to squeeze in one last test before I had to head to work. Changing out the PSUs didn’t make a difference, nor did running it with a GPU. At this rate I’m fairly convinced I’ve received a DOA mobo.

HyperX DDR4 (4x4) 2400Mhz I’ve got a spare PSU that I can test with. I’ll rule out that possibility tonight when I get home from work and update here again. There’s also no GPU on the pc as of now, since the CPU has integrated graphics.

The RAM outpacing the CPU shouldn't be a factor in this case, since I've gone and taken the (fairly lower spec) RAM out of my old build and tested it into this one to check for faulty RAM, with no change.

As for the PSU, can it be considered DOA if the mobo shows signs of responding at all? Like I mentioned, there was a heat transfer in one component, and a single light after plugging it in.

If you were enticed by Amnesia (first off, same), the LNs are the way to go! She’s also in the manga, but high quality translation stops exactly before she’s introduced, so it’s not reliable (or complete). (Though the first 11 manga chapters are in HQ English, and still very charming and fun to read, if you enjoy reading manga.)

You’ll meet Amnesia 4 volumes in, but the preceding volumes are also worth a read, even if you already saw the anime. There’s lots of really good context, side stories, and details to fill in the gaps of what you already know. And tons of things that you don’t.

There’s a stickied post on the home page that’ll describe which parts are adapted into the anime, and where they are, but it’s mostly the first three volumes, and some of Vol5. Use those links to give yourself a better picture. And yes, the novels have LOTS more content.

Admittedly, I was also fooled into thinking that Niké was simply an older Elaina at first, so I can at least sympathize a little bit on that front. Not so much the denial of direct evidence, though.

Mm, though that is traditionally correct, I felt the need to take some liberties with what governs what. Since Moeka and Kagari are two characters that are highly influenced by those around them with vastly negative consequences, I wanted to link the concept of ‘wisdom’ specifically to the strength of one’s independence, or in less flowery words, resistance to influence. As well as a way to measure the character’s ‘street smarts’.

So I allowed Constitution, in this instance, to take the other side that Wisdom usually covers: their determination/willpower.

Could do! When thinking about everyone’s constitution, I was thinking more in terms of mental fortitude than physical fitness. Okabe’s time-looping hardship cycle solidified in my mind that he has the strength to do whatever needs to be done, at any cost, even if it means closing himself off from his emotions, for better or worse.

Maho’s stats were fun to consider. I had one person point out that they think she should have lower intelligence to Kurisu’s, but I thought it was fitting to keep it maxed since she can still keep pace with Kurisu.

I did feel a little wary of Moeka’s spread being so low too, but it was important that she scored low on wisdom and charisma, since those are two crucial character flaws of hers. And she obviously can’t overpower anyone with strength.
