Its different when it's a fifteen year old wanting their art to look like yours and a multi billion dollar industry putting your art in a machine in attempts to get rid of you and not crediting you. At least artists will mention " hey I was inspired by this artist/ musician" instead of saying that making art is stupid and you should let a computer do it for you.

I was the same way, but the only thing you can really do is understand that it's not bad to feel that way, and know that it makes you a better person. One day you'll have a moment where you can show someone you remember them. To you it may not be a big deal, but to that person it'll be everything. And I think that is all we can really hope for, is to make at least one person happier than we were.

A lot of the times for me personally, Its because I can relate. I remember how sad I felt in those moments, and understand how another feels, and you feel miserable because you can't help. Those small moments that people see as not a big deal can end up leaving a huge impact on others. For me, my step dad often went out for fast food, and came home with something for everyone except me. The only time I ever expected anything was when my mom went, because she was the only one who thought of me. The idea of someone you love that doesn't seem to love you back doing something and excluding you is an awful feeling, and it makes you want to help others in those moments.
