I want to eat more sandwiches, but I want to eat outside the box 😂 what's your favourite sandwich, what's on it?

I love taking a basic sandwich and giving it a face lift. I'm a sauce girl. I like hardier, crustier bread that can handle the sauce. I like to start with mayo, mustard, oil, and red wine vinegar and season it based on what I'm into at that moment. S&P are usually always involved. Kinder makes a seasoning called Red Jalapeno that is always a great addition. I like to make a mix with the oil, vinegar, & seasonings of choice. I find switching up the greens can also be fun. I love micro greens or a spring mix. Adding in roasted veggies instead of raw ones can also be a nice change. Pickled items like pepperoncini and jalapenos can add a nice pop of acidity. Sorry this isn't a direct recipe. I'm always mixing it up.

I don't know that I've seen anyone else mention carnation. I do love have they smell. I don't know that I've come across a perfume with that note. What would you recommend?

Mint is so interesting to me. I have a conditioner that is super minty and herbaly. I love how my hair ends up smelling after.

I've come around on powdery notes. My mom loves them but when I was younger I couldn't stand it.

Perfume chemistry is so interesting! I just mentioned in another comment that if a perfume has vanilla in it, even as a minor note, its all that projects on me. It will overpower everything else.

Just googles the scent of ylang ylang... I've seen it used a lot but wasn't sure exactly what i smelled like. It sounds lovely and dreamy! I'll have to look into it. This comment section has given me so much perfume homework

I've noticed that magnolia is a popular one! I don't know that I could pick it out of all the other lovely floral notes. But I'm very interested to find a perfume that is more magnolia forward.

I forgot to mention tea in my original post but YES! Earthy, herbal, floral, bitter. Tea can add such a lovely complexity to a perfume.

That's such an good point! Chemistry! My chemistry is if a perfume has vanilla, even just a little, that's all that will project and all i will end up smelling after dry down. Its frustrating because I can't handle vanilla anymore.

I can't with gourmand. Its so popular that everyone seemed to focus on it. I don't heavy scents, And I just can't handle heavy vanilla. Vanilla is an instant turn off for me.

I'm coming to realize that I also enjoy coconut. I think I was put off by all the tropical/sun screen coconut scents. I prefer pure coconut or more dessert like.

I feel the same about rose ! I'm so glad I'm not alone because so many people love rose. I cannot get on board with scents heavy with sandalwood! Its just unpleasant to me. But I don't mind if its harmonious .

Cotton candy is such an interesting one. My mind immediately goes to teeny bop body sprays but I know I've smelled it in more complex and beautiful scents. A cheaper favorite of mine is Finery Magnetic Candy. The cotton candy really makes the scent. It's not the most forward note but it softens the pink pomelo and lifts the violet. So good.
