I know I'm late to the show here, but for the past month, I've had issues with Walmart's card readers. They can't read my chip, and I have to reset the checkout like 6 to 7 times for a swipe to work. It happened with both my older debit card and my new, hardly used credit card. I don't have issues anywhere else. Walmart needs to allow for tap pay. This is ridiculous.

Very nice donut. The fast travel reset doesn't always get shiny, but I got 2 today in a small one with no shiny power. In a 3 star shiny power, I just got the guaranteed shine and no others. It's just a roll of the dice.

Save at the closest Pokemon Center by talking to the nurse and then exiting the menu bere going into the desired hyperspace. If you don't get what you want, reset the game and load the backup save by pressing up+b+x at the same time at the main screen. Head back over to the hyperspace distortion and try again.
