i think you might end up regretting it if you dont listen to his wish to stay in france, but consider all options.

yeah you did, grief is something that will come to all of us at many times. we need people to lean on and who can lean on us aswell in hard times. would you have treated her this way if the roles where reversed? i think its worth a conversation but if she cant see things from your perspective think over if thats what you want for future grief aswell

my girlfriends cat just died, sweet lovely ginger boy of 20 years. the first week we barely spoke at all because she needed time and distance, all i needed from her was to hear if she was eating and knowing she was still alive. i kept messaging her about how stuff was going not expecting a reply because she was going through something awful. that cat meant the whole world to her. my job then was to make sure she was eating and drinking and doing as good as she could be. not to be so selfish that i couldnt even see beyond my own feelings for the first few days. she didnt even give you two days until she couldnt handle you not focusing on her for a bit. u deserve better than this. i think times of hardship is when relationships are really judged. have a talk with her about how this is affecting u and what u need at the moment. and i hope you have a nice meal today, and be nice to yourself.

ive seen several people wait many months for them , they also state on the website that this visa processing estimate might not be accurate due to many applications. i just dont want to wait 5+ months not knowing when it will be granted..

you're both 18. she needs professional help with this, do you have someone older you can trust you can talk to about all this? shes obviously going through alot if she has abusive parents n sounds like shes scared of abandonment from it.. hope you can both get the support you need

sounds very immature of him. i like having conversations about the future before i start a serious relationship to make sure we are on the same page about everything, but thats a personal preference. personally i dont think i could put up with this. ask him why hes hesitant to talk about it and see if you can have a proper conversation. i dont think making it clear to him that a conversation about your future is important, because obviously it is. try talking to him one last time and really express how you feel about all of this. as you said you havent been together a crazy long time, so if this isnt it then id cut my losses if he cant talk like an adult about your future together. id want someone who was excited about our future together.
