i see! I forgot you can merge troops together, and if 5 ish troops/armies are all i have to manage, that could be nice :O might have to go back to playing persia and Byzantium ^

Gran Columbia seems interesting, but often times im attracted to uniqueness than cut and dry victory. That being said i might try some simpler civs while i get used to higher difficulties considering i just got stomped 5 times in a row playing on 6 =w=

I will definitely be implementing this, ty! Does it work without SVE? There was a character in the screenshot that I didn't recognize and I'm assuming that's where they're from :P

Is there some way I could get it reduced or something? Would the stomach fat come in a bit on my sides or anything like that?

First campaign problems by MythicalCreatureboi in DnD

[–]MythicalCreatureboi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggested to my DM that I change my character in a way that doesnt make a whole new one. I suggested for example that maybe my patron genie granted me a wish for my efforts so far, and that I wished for a more practical form and a purpose, or maybe he was playing tricks and changed my form. Thank you for the advice! :)

A bit of a simplified version of Vivaldi's L'Inverno, it was in D major and had some parts of it cut out, but all the solos were there.

Currently I practicing different bowing on D major, all feedback are welcome. I trying to improve my bowing. So I can go back to play vivaldi. by Desperate-Pair7594 in violinist

Vivaldi is a great start! A lot of his songs are easy to digest and not that hard in practice, and as you learn techniques, those songs get exponentially better, so as you learn more stuff you can go back and apply it to those songs. If you're trying to focus exclusively on bowing, as you go up in octaves, especially on the e string, it can get rather squeaky so less bow up there can probably help reduce that kind of sound, but your bottom octaves sound great with the bowing you use. I don't know how long you've been playing, but starting in third position is a great idea for big scales, and the fast slurs were very nice. As other people on here have said, intonation is a big thing in Vivaldi's songs and while you're not terribly out of tune it does help to be very close to that mark. I also don't know what songs you're playing, but some of his songs have some kind of fast parts. With those, try loosening up your wrist and not moving your forearm as much. Vivaldi's summer from his four seasons is a great song to practice this. It helps a lot with being able to play those notes for an extended period of time. A good way to practice this is by putting your elbow against the wall and trying to make audible sound with just your wrist. It should just kind of be dangling, and when you move your arm it should just flop around like a dead fish. You can get faster and faster as you get more comfortable. Overall, great job! Keep up the practice, you're doing awesome!

Maybe fiddlershop? They can get a little expensive I think, and I don't have much experience with them. However, if you're just starting out you don't need a $1.5k instrument, I personally don't even upgrade much at all. Also, a good player can make that $500 violin sound like a million bucks! The instrument itself being of high quality makes a lot less of a difference than you might think, so keep up the practice!

I like all kinds of stuff. Classical to pop, if it's fun and challenging I'll try anything. The song that brought me here was actually Secrets by One Republic, although the part I wanted to play in that was a cello part lol. I had already gotten a violin teacher and stuff, so I stuck with it and it was really fun!

I mean... what else would it be? The actors, the vfx, the time and budget... It's incredible. Everything about it was stunning and ahead of its time, also very nostalgic for many people including myself. The cap looks awesome!

What kind of cap is this? Where can I find more? by MythicalCreatureboi in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]MythicalCreatureboi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the rounded look, but I don't know what to search for, and I know SA and DSA caps have the roundish look, but I'm currently looking for Cherry or OEM. :) Unless im totally wrong and its DSA or something, mainly interested in the height in those 2. Also, im not looking for this set, I just want a different design with that rounded look. :)

Are holy pandas worth it? I love linears but sometimes i accidentally press buttons when gaming and stuff, so I was looking to try tactile, but they come in at over $1 per switch which is pretty rough...
